Paris Hilton is desperate for a baby - and is convinced she will be a good parent because she owns so many animals.
The heiress has said she would like to get pregnant soon, following her close friend and'Simple Life' co-star Nicole Richie's step into motherhood earlier this year.
And the socialite insists she is a capable guardian - because she has raised a menagerie of pets, including a ferret, a chinchilla, a kinkajou and over a dozen dogs.
She says: "I have lots of beautiful animals that I look after and I feel I would have a lot to give my children."
The 27-year-old is currently linked to Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden, the twin brother of Richie's partner Joel.

Hugh Hefner wants 15-year-old Miley Cyrus to pose naked in Playboy.
The 82-year-old tycoon thinks the 'Hannah Montana' star - who recently caused controversy by posing in just a blanket in Vanity Fair magazine for photographer Annie Leibovitz - would be a hit with readers of the adult magazine when she turns 18.
He said: "She would be welcomed in the magazine. She's a very pretty lady."
Hugh - who has three live-in girlfriends - also insists he can't understand the fuss caused over the Vanity Fair shoot.
He added to US TV show 'Extra': "I think to make such a big to-do over something as innocent as those photos. I think is a reflection on how schizophrenic America is about sexuality."

This weekend brought a Mother's Day celebration for a mom-to-be – the second baby shower in a week for Jamie Lynn Spears.
Glammed up in a bright print dress and yellow heels, the expectant Spears, 17, gassed up her Range Rover on Saturday and headed to Liberty, Miss, where friends threw an early-evening event attended by "30 or 40 people," a source tells PEOPLE.
Unlike the previous girls-only shower attended by big sis Britney Spears in Kentwood, La., on May 3, this event welcomed a few male well-wishers.
While the baby's father, Casey Aldridge, did not put in an appearance, his mom Joyce and sister Ashley were both in attendance. Other than immediate family, "it was a totally different group" from the first event, explained the source. "This one was more [Casey's] family."
After the "really nice" shower, the guests – including the mom-to-be – went out to dinner and then on to a club, the source added.
May will bring even more showers for Jamie Lynn: The Aldridge family is planning to host a bash as well.

Carmen Electra is no stranger to marriage. But two failed unions – to Dennis Rodman and Dave Navarro – didn't make the actress jaded.
"I was definitely open to love again," the recently engaged Electra told in Las Vegas at the Hard Rock Hotel on Saturday.
Love is exactly what she found with former touring Korn guitarist Rob Patterson, who popped the question in April by giving her a black diamond.
"The last couple weeks have been amazing on a lot of different levels," the Meet The Spartans star said at a junket for the film. "Rob is amazing. We were great friends and it actually turned into something much more."
"We all try to protect our hearts and our feelings and it's really easy to put up a wall and not feel anything," she continued. "I've learned to allow myself to feel, whether it's painful or beautiful. I'm really happy."
The happiness showed as the duo was all smiles in Vegas, walking around the hotel hand in hand Saturday. Following her day of work, the duo was spotted getting loose at Body English nightclub.
So when is wedding number three? Not for a while, says Electra: "I have so much work."

As we first reported, Suge was at Shag nightclub when he began arguing with a man he had been talking with. Our spy overheard Suge say, "I want my money!" Suge and his peeps beat the guy to the ground, but the man landed a right hook on Suge's face, knocking him out for around three minutes.
We obtained these photos of a bloody Suge just after the incident.
Suge was taken to the hospital where LAPD officers arrived, but he refused to file a report.
