HOLLYWOOD power couple Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were a picture of togetherness yesterday amid claims their relationship is on the rocks.A seven-months pregnant Holmes held Cruise's hand down the plane's steps and on a Sydney Harbour cruise with James Packer and others, they kissed and cuddled and waved to reporters.

Fending off criticisms regarding her questionable parenting, Britney Spears has told People Magazine that paparazzi are "crossing the line" with their aggressive behaviour before discussing her impending musical comeback.Spears admits her actions last week (which involved her driving with infant son Sean Preston seated unbelted on her lap) were a mistake on her part. However, also relates to the lose-lose situation she finds herself in. "I've pulled over and asked the cops, 'Could you please help me? They've been driving recklessly back there,'" the pop star explained. "And they say, 'Sorry ma'am, I can't help you. This is how it is.' I mean, Princess Diana got killed by one of these people. They're crossing the line."Despite all the scepticism on her behaviour Spears insists she's happy. "I sound bitter," she confessed to People. "I'm not bitter. I'm doing great. I really am. I'm happy." Doesn't really sound all that convincing but anyhoo…On a lighter note she also spoke to People about wanting to get back on the music scene, saying she is "hungry" to return to music after her year and a half long maternity leave. Guess that leaves K-Fed as the stay-at-home Dad. "It's been boring," says Spears of the current pop scene. "Nothing's been wow to me."

Page Six reports that Willis has said:
"Look at what happened to James Frey in the last two weeks," Willis rants to iFMagazine. That’s a great book and so is the follow-up book ["My Friend Leonard"]. Just because his publisher chose to say that these were memoirs, it took it out of being a work of fiction, a great work of fiction and very well-written. This guy having to go be sucker-punched on ‘Oprah’ by one of the most powerful women in television just to grind her own ax about it.
Hey, Oprah," Willis continues. "You had President Clinton on your show and if this [bleep] didn’t lie about a couple of things, I’m going to set myself on fire right now. James Frey is a writer, OK? He can write whatever he wants. It’s fiction, and it’s just hard, it’s just shameful how he was treated in some of these things."

George Clooney is hot now and it's the best time to sell his Batman costume.
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - This is so much George Clooney's year that a seller of Hollywood memorabilia thinks he can earn up to $100,000 by auctioning off the costume the Oscar-nominated actor wore in one of his biggest flops -- the much maligned "Batman and Robin." Joe Maddalena of the auction house Profiles in History says he plans to sell off Clooney's costume from the 1997 "Batman & Robin" movie that some fans list as among the worst ever made.The auction will be held on March 31 along with several other costumes from the film.
Maddalena said the latex body suit contains all sorts of extras -- nipples, a cape and a cowl, gloves, bat ears and a utility belt.
But the auctioneer said that the costume would probably have sold for about $30,000 two or three years ago when Clooney was less of a star than he is now.
The actor/director/screenwriter is up for three Oscars: best supporting actor in "Syriana," best director for "Good Night, and Good Luck" and best original screenplay as coauthor of the "Good Night" script.
"Clooney is hot. He is the leader of an unofficial Rat Pack. People have fallen in love with him. He is the bad boy we always love. The nominations also help," Maddalena said on Thursday.
The Batman costume has the highest estimate in the auction which will consist of about 600 items from different films. Maddalena thinks he might get a shipment of costumes from "Star Wars" that will even outshine Clooney's bright star.

Halle Berry has won the ultimate honour; the Hasty Pudding award.
That was the required punishment for Halle Berry in order for her to receive a "pudding pot" as Harvard's Hasty Pudding woman of the year, reports USA Today. The annual hazing event honours performers and is given out by the Hasty Pudding Theatricals, the oldest undergraduate drama troupe in the US. Berry also danced suggestively with a Harvard student dressed as a French poodle named "Dogman," as another jab at her Catwoman performance.
Peter Dodd, one of the Harvard students who participated in the roast onstage with Berry, said the actress was picked for the Hasty Pudding honor because "she's just such a good role model for anyone interested in the arts ... and she's just so fun."
I really think it's time to start an annual award ceremony for Egotastic! The Ego! Awards (TM) will be given out to people who I think deserve an award, or are hot. The ladies will wear fancy dresses, and the men will stay home. In fact, why don't we make this a weekly affair...

Picking up their first award, the band were joined on stage by an unknown member of the audience who was soon escorted off. Singer Ricky Wilson said: “this is our first Brits. We weren’t supposed to win this one. This means the world.”
In the last of the evening’s rare moments of controversy the Kaiser Chiefs said they were against a proposed second runway at Stansted: “that’s very important, don’t edit it out”

In two weeks, Kate Moss will know her fate.
Kate Moss is waiting to hear if she will face prosecution for drug-taking.The supermodel will reportedly know within two weeks if she is will be charged following her infamous cocaine-snorting scandal.
Police who studied the snaps of the model using the Class A drug have compiled a report and sent it to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), which will make the final decision.
The 32-year-old, who lost several lucrative modelling contracts and checked into rehab after the images were published last year - has already been interviewed by detectives.
Several other people who were with Kate when the images were taken may also face prosecution.
A CPS source is quoted in Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper as saying: "We have received a report from the police and a request for a decision on Kate Moss.
"There are just a few odds and ends to sort out."
A friend of Kate's revealed: "She just wants to put this whole episode behind her."

Pop rocker KELLY OSBOURNE has blasted actress SIENNA MILLER for moaning about the paparazzi.
The reality TV star was stunned to hear the CASANOVA actress is planning to petition British Prime Minister TONY BLAIR to seek protection laws for celebrities from photographers.
However, Osbourne believes Miller deserves the press attention because she has regularly discussed her private life with the media.
Osbourne says, "It's what you get - I mean, don't be famous if you don't want it.
"Don't spill your beans to everyone, and don't be famous if you don't want some attention.
"In some ways, I feel sorry for her because she has had a lot of trouble, but - come on you choose to be a celebrity, it's part of the job."

Elvis Presley's daughter weds for the fourth time.
Lisa Marie Presley weds guitarist and music producer Michael Lockwood in Kyoto, Japan, her publicist announced Thursday. The pair were married in a traditional Japanese ceremony on Jan. 22, said Paul Bloch.
This is the fourth marriage for Presley, 38, who previously wed Nicolas Cage, Michael Jackson and Danny Keough. Keough served as Lockwood's best man at the ceremony.
Keough and Presley have two children together, Riley, 16, who was the maid of honor, and Benjamin, 13, who was a groomsman.
The bride's mother, Priscilla Presley, walked her daughter down the aisle and gave her away. The bride's father, rock 'n' roll legend Elvis Presley, died in 1977.
Lockwood was Lisa Marie Presley's musical director and is listed as executive producer on her 2005 album "Now What".
