Ted Casablanca, writer of ‘The Awful Truth’, has heard that this weekend is when Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are going to get married. Although he goes on to say that Tom’s reps have denied it, I still think it’s a rumor worth spreading.Word round marriage-and-baby infested T-town is that Tommy Cruise is expected to get hitched to doe-caught-in-klieg-lights fiancée, Kate Holmes, over the fourth.

Dita Von Teese loves being a sex symbol - for both men and women.The burlesque performer says she loves earning money by flaunting her body - and is thrilled that ladies as well as men buy tickets to see her dance and log on to her website.
She said: "Some people say what I do isn't very liberating. I say it's pretty liberating to get $20,000 for 10 minutes work.
"And as many women as men come to my shows. When I started my website in 1993, it was geared towards men. Now it has more female visitors - not necessarily lesbians, just young women interested in my style."
Dita, 33, who is married to rock star Marilyn Manson, thinks women are interested in her because they want tips on how they can become sexier to please their partners.
She added : "Most women want to be sex symbols, even if they don't admit it. Imagine being considered not for your mind but for how you look. Sort of fun, don't you think?"

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES star MARCIA CROSS had a dream wedding last Saturday (24JUN06) with only one major hitch - the groom's cell phone rang in the middle of the vows. Cross married money manager TOM MAHONEY at a black-tie wedding attended by 200 guests in San Gabriel, California.
The 44-year-old bride took the interruption in her stride, according to Housewives co-star BRENDA STRONG, "She couldn't contain her giggles." Mahoney opted not to take the unfortunately timed call and wisely turned his mobile phone off.
The rest of the couple's vows were traditional, but Cross improvised on the script ever so slightly. She explains, "After I said 'I will' to everything, I whispered under my breath, 'As long as I don't have to cook!'" The bride was remarkably stress-free on her big day, saying, "My hair and makeup people were teasing me because I hadn't told them what I wanted. I figured it would all work out." Cross decided to get changed in a room at the church to avoid the paparazzi, but discovered that the room had no mirror. She adds, "I had no idea what I looked like. I got into my dress, put on my veil and was sent out the door." The low-key couple were spotted shopping for groceries the very next day (25JUN06). Cross adds, "I'm exhausted, but the most happy exhausted. (The wedding) was magical, filled with love and beyond my wildest imagination!"
