If you want a masterpiece of the Queen's life do a educational biopic on her.
Kirsten Dunst did a horrible job of portraying French Queen Marie Antoinette - by historians’ standards.
Director Sofia Coppola's new biopic of the queen was booed by critics at this year's Cannes Film Festival. And now, Dunst's performance has been attacked by the Marie Antoinette Association. Reported Star-ecentral.
"The theatrical trailer for the film is horrible! We've spent years trying to convince people eccentric story of the famous French queen. On the trailer it portrays her lazy, ruling slut. This disaster is going to ruin our reputation for awhile," association president Michele Lorin said.
However, the star Kirsten Dunst has backed up her movie by saying that the movie is not an educational documentary but simple entertainment. "The movie is more on the feeling level of history not the intellectual level of historian facts. So don't expect a masterpiece theatre." she said.

Giving a future to war zone children.
Shakira comes from a war zone. Colombia's civil war is forcing children to flee from their homes. Shakira wants to save the children and build a school. She is giving a concert and all the proceeds from the concert she will donate to build a school.
Her Oral Fixation concert will be held Nov. 15 in the Caribbean port city of Barranquilla. It will be a festive homecoming for the torturously gorgeous Latina star, who last month was nominated for five Latin Grammy awards.
The English and Spanish bilingual school will bear the name of Shakira's Pies Descalzos (Spanish for Bare Feet) foundation and have an emphasis on arts education, the foundation said Thursday in a statement. Reported USA Today.
The school will be built in a poor suburb part of Barranquilla, in La Playa about half of the residents are minors and half those minors attend school.
