"We have lot similarities."
GWEN STEFANI insists MADONNA and her go way back. And that means Gwen has watched Madonna turn into a icon and tried to follow in her foot steps.
In her latest interview she confessed, "It is weird that we have all of these similarities. Madonna's had us over for dinner and stuff, and she's always been very nice to me." According to Contact Music.
Gwen adds, "One time I was raving to Madonna that I was going to record a '80s Dance CD and she liked rolled her eyes. Her thoughts were probably like 'lived it, done it'. Anyway, Madonna's early work really influenced me, like a Xerox machine."

Now, Swank has two Oscar's under her belt and walking with confidence.
"I remember my mom using a roll of quarters to call agents from a pay phone and telling agents they should sign me," said the emotional 32-year-old during the 325th star's dedication ceremony. Reported The Star.
In Swanks new film, "Freedom Writers," is based on a true story where she plays an English teacher whose dedicates her-self to empower teens affected by racism. Maybe she will receive another Oscar, for this role, too.
