This isn't the first time and it won't be the last.
After five long years Drew Barrymore and boyfriend Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti, are taking a break.
“Drew said they need time apart,” a close source of Drew.
Moretti's pal confirms the break up, “Fab is staying in his old apartment again.”
Drew and Moretti first got together back in 2002 - everyone saw them as a perfect couple. The real truth is Drew and the rocker's personalities clashed. His younger and she's more cultured, according to US Weekly.
This is not the first time they have broken their engagement, they've split two other times over the same superficial reasons. So, this is probably just a break for a few months than they'll be on again.
She's a good person and he seems like a good person so I'm sure this is for the best. Reported US Weekly.

Swank starred in "Freedom Writers" addressed the potential controversy while promoting the flick. What kind of message would this supposedly inspiring story portray with their leading lady being a drop out?
"I’m not proud that I’m a high-school dropout," admitted Swank, "I’m not proud, but it happened. I think education is very important."
Swank says that unlike the inner city kids depicted in "Freedom Writers," she never felt hopeless about her future because her mother was always supportive. Reported MSNBC.
"What I hated about school was my teachers always said I talked too much. They were always telling me ‘Stop talking, Hilary. You’ve got to stop talking,’" the actress explained.

For once , Mary-Kate Olsen was in a film without her twin tagging along. Mary-Kate was so excited about a real grown up role in Factory Girl but the lousy directors cut out all her lines. The movie is now focused on British film star Sienna Miller. Slut! Mary-Kate, 20, is just an extra. What a complete insult. Factory Girl is based on artist Andy Warhol's muse Edie Sedgwick, which is played by British (slut) Sienna Miller.
Supposedly, reports that Olsen is not pissed about her role being practically cut from the movie. Yeah, but we all know, she is planning her revenge against Sienna Slut.
