Slinging hash browns to cashier on two different movies - lol.
Jessica Simpson has been hard at work climbing the Hollywood ladder, waitressing to being a check-out girl but she's looking for something more challenging.
The waitress in "The Dukes of Hazzard" and ringing up receipts as a check-out girl in "Employee of the Month" has been great but her next film she taken on a more serious role in "Blonde Ambition."
"Not to brag or anything, but this role I did a great job," Simpson said right after filming, "I am really proud of myself."
"Blonde Ambition," out this summer; described as a remake of the '80s classic "Working Girl". "Working Girl" starred Melanie Griffith and Harrison Ford, but Simpson's version is a re-imagining of the movie's originals theme.
"It's basically about a young woman's journey into the corporate empire," producer Justin Berfield told MTV News. Reported VH1.
"The character starts at the bottom of the corporate ladder and works her way up to the top."

Religious singer Charlotte Church has gotten herself knocked up but lucky her she knows the father of her first child, rugby player boyfriend Gavin Henson.
The only reason she's letting us all know was she refused to drink on her 21st birthday. Singer-turned-TV presenter caused rumors after that mishap.
A statement on Church's website reads, "Charlotte has asked us to bring you the news exclusively today that she is pregnant. For reasons of privacy, Charlotte has chosen not to comment on this matter, other than to confirm that she and her boyfriend, Gavin Henson, are delighted.
"In an ideal world, we would not have made this announcement so early in the pregnancy. However, due to recent speculation and persistent questions from the media about this most private of matters, Charlotte felt she had no choice other than to go public and she was keen to ensure that her fans had the opportunity to read the truth here first." Well, at least she is happy about having a bastard out of wed lock!

Penguins swarm around Pete Doherty and Kate Moss. It looks like he's secretly dealing to the penguins?
While visiting Cotswold Wildlife Park, in Oxfordshire, Pete Doherty and girlfriend Kate Moss stirred a riot among the penguins. Pete thought he was being cool by flicking a joint to the penguins to munch on.
One of the penguins actually ingested the weed. A source told: "He actually joked about getting the penguins stoned."
The London Zoo's chief veterinary officer attacked Pete and his actions, "You better pray that penguin lives! Weed has toxins that attack the nervous system and liver and easily kill an animal." Wahhh!
I bet Pete is not feeling so mucho anymore in front of his girl.
