Latino filmmaker Robert Rodriguez and actress Rose McGowan have confirmed they are a couple after appearing hand-in-hand at the Cannes Film Festival yesterday (22May07).
Rodriguez and MCGowan, who worked together on Planet Terror, were at the French premiere of the new longer cut of Quentin Tarantino's Death Proof. The two movies were released together as Grindhouse in the U.S. The couple had previously denied speculation they had become romantically involved on the Planet Terror set.

‘Wedding Crashers’ star Rachel McAdams has caused a storm in Hollywood gossip circles, amid accusations that she is lying about her age.
Both the magazine People and movie site IMDb insist the actress is 30, while McAdams herself claims to be 28.
The magazine first printed a profile in 2005 which stated her age as 29 (which would make her at least 30 now). However the magazine printed a retraction at the insistence of McAdams’ publicist.
IMDb.com have refused such a retraction though, stating her birthday as October, 1976.
The incident has highlighted the struggle of actresses in Hollywood to maintain their youth. Actresses such as Sharon Stone, Helena Bonham Carter and Halle Berry have all complained that once women get past a certain age Hollywood ignores them.
McAdams meanwhile, whatever age she is, can be seen next in the film 'Married Life', out 2008.

Victoria Beckham was left red-faced after being stopped by Los Angeles traffic police.
The former Spice Girl was halted by two motorcycle cops outside a Beverly Hills shopping complex for making an illegal right turn in her blacked-out Cadillac Escalade on Tuesday (22.05.07).
An embarrassed-looking Victoria, wearing a figure-hugging black dress unbuttoned to reveal her yellow lacy bra, presented her British driving licence and insurance details to one officer, who then ran the appropriate checks.
The star was sent on her way without a ticket and with instructions to apply for a Californian driver's licence, after charming the officers.
Victoria then drove straight to the state's Department of Motor Vehicles where she registered her 4x4 car and began the application process to obtain a US licence.
The whole incident was captured on film by a camera crew following the star around for her NBC reality TV series.

The heated discussion stemmed from a previous conversation where Rosie felt Elisabeth didn't come to her defense after she commented on the Iraq War and the 650,000 Iraqi causalities. Rosie was accused of insinuating that American troops were terrorists.
On her blog, Rosie says she can't wait for her job on The View to be over. She is leaving the show at the end of the month because she and ABC could not reach an agreement on a new contract.

Pratt, 23, popped the question to Montag, 20, Tuesday night at the Bacara Resort & Spa in Santa Barbara, says a source who adds: "She said 'yes.' She's over the moon!"
The Hills stars, whose controversial courtship was chronicled last season on the hit MTV reality series, have been dating for just eight months.
Pratt purchased the diamond-encrusted platinum band with a pink stone on Monday at Ice at Brentwood Gardens before presenting Montag with his bended-knee proposal, according to a source. An eyewitness at the store tells Us, "She was trying on tons of them and they looked really happy!"
Montag was formerly a close friend and roommate of her Hills co-star Lauren Conrad, 21, until Pratt earlier this year urged Montag to move out of Conrad's apartment and in with him. The couple has not yet set a wedding date.
A rep for MTV told Us: "We do not comment on our stars' personal lives."

They have ordered her to show a judge she has some humility and social responsibility if she is going to have her sentence reduced on appeal. That means no booze, no parading round in skimpy outfits, no partying. She's got to stick with her family and take on a healthier regime."
Paris is due to begin her sentence at California's female-only Century Regional Detention Centre in Lynwood on June 5.
