Model Elizabeth Hurley rang in her 42nd birthday in style, with the help of her long-term friend Sir Elton John.
The singer held a lavish party for the model, who arrived with her husband Arun Nayar wearing a eye-catching white knee-length frock and sparkling silver shoes.

Jennifer Aniston's new boyfriend, a former bricklayer, is a friend of Victoria Beckham, it has been reported.
Paul Sculfor, from Essex, is now a model and was pictured partying in Los Angeles with Beckham and fellow ex-Spice Girl Mel Brown.
They met, according to the Daily Mirror, when Sculfor was dating Maria Louise Featherstone, an old friend of Beckham.
Aniston got together with Sculfor after splitting from actor Vince Vaughn. They were apparently united by David Arquette.
"Jen met Paul at a party last winter, while she was still with Vince," a source explained. "He came over all suave and charming, though and called her several weeks ago, after she had split up with Vince.
"She remembered him right away. She was warned by David that he was a fame seeker and she should be wary of him but she is really attracted to him.
"What she likes is that he is the opposite of Vince. He's physically in shape like she is. He's dignified and gentlemanly in the only way that Englishmen can be but it's still early days and she's not taking it too seriously yet."
