Beyonce Knowles has laughed off reports she accidentally flashed her breasts during a wardrobe malfunction in Canada last week, insisting she was wearing a flesh-coloured bra.
Video footage posted on the internet of the singer's recent performance in Toronto showed her top fly up to reveal a blur of flesh, prompting reports Knowles had flashed her chest. However, the Deja Vu hitmaker insists she kept her modesty. Her publicist tells MTV, "She's wearing a flesh-tone bra! Do you really think Beyonce would go onstage like that?"

Britney Spears shaved her head because she was convinced her hair would be tested for drugs, according to a friend.
The singer stunned fans in January when she cut off her own hair in a Los Angeles salon in front of paparazzi photographers.
She has never explained the gesture - but a friend claims she was worried she would be drug tested as part of her custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline over their two children.
The friend tells British newspaper The Sun, "Kevin taunted Britney that even his smoking marijuana near her would leave traces that could be picked up by drug testing.
"He threatened to use that against her in a custody battle." The pair are still battling over custody of Sean Preston, 23 months and 11-month-old Jayden James.

Reality TV star Nicole Richie surrendered to authorities on Thursday to begin serving a four-day sentence for driving under the influence of drugs, but spent a little more than one hour in jail, an official said.
A spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said federal sentencing guidelines dealing with jail overcrowding allowed local officials to reduce the time for Richie and other inmates with similar charges.
The L.A. County Sheriff's Department had the following statement regarding Nicole's 82-minute jail term:
On August 23 2007, at 3:15 PM Miss Nicole Camille Richie reported to CRDF and surrendered herself following a July 27 arrest, she was sentenced to serve 96 hours in County Jail. Miss Richie was accompanied by her attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley and her boyfriend Joel Madden. Miss Richie was booked and processed into the jail system. Miss Richie was cooperative during the process. Based on her sentence and federal court guidelines, Miss Richie was released at 4:37 PM today.

Celebrity watching aside, 349 films from 55 countries will be screened at the festival Sept. 6-15.
Among them is "Michael Clayton," in which Clooney plays a "fixer" who specializes in getting clients out of delicate situations for a top New York law firm.
Blanchett is at the festival promoting two buzz-worthy films, "Elizabeth: The Golden Age," in which she reprises her role as the British monarch, and the Bob Dylan biopic "I'm Not There," shot in Montreal. Blanchett plays the singer for part of the film.
Pitt, better-known recently for his brood of children with Angelina Jolie than for his acting choices, will be pushing "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford."
Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal will be on hand to promote "Rendition," about the efforts of a woman to track down her husband, an Egyptian-born chemical engineer being held at a secret CIA detention facility outside the U.S.

The porn star previously singled out Scarlett Johansson to play her in a biopic, but has now said she would be happy if Sienna was cast in the role.
Jenna, 33, said: "I would love Scarlett Johansson to play me. Sienna Miller would be great too. But I also think Rachel McAdams is amazing."

Warner Bros. Pictures has released the new trailer for The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, starring Brad Pitt, Casey Affleck, Jeremy Renner, Mary-Louise Parker, Paul Schneider, Sam Rockwell, Sam Shepard and Zooey Deschanel. The movie opens September 21 at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Jessica Simpson hasn’t gotten a nose job, but she certainly did a “job” on her nose!
The multi-talented Simpson injured her nose on the set of “Major Movie Star,” In Touch Weekly was first to report.
“I was running with a gun over my head and fell and either fractured or broke my nose!” she told In Touch in their new issue. “It’s all bruised and swollen. The magic of makeup is doing wonders. Hopefully, when the swelling goes down, my nose will go back to normal.”
Simpson’s rep confirmed the injury to “Access Hollywood,” but revealed that Jessica’s nose had not actually been broken in the accident after all.
“Her nose is not broken, she did not have to have it reset,” said the rep. “She bruised it badly on the set of ‘Major Movie Star’ about two weeks ago. She was in a combat scene and accidentally hit herself with a big gun on her nose. But she was able to continue shooting the movie.”
“Major Movie Star,” directed by Steve Miner (“Lake Placid,” “Halloween H2O”), follows a naive pop singer (Simpson) who enlists in the military to win the approval of a producer who considers her unsuitable for his new military-themed movie. Once she arrives at the military base, she realizes she’s made a mistake, but decides to stick.
