The latest rumor is that Jessica Alba shuns diets and personal trainers in favor of a Nintendo Wii workout.
"I just got the Wii and that's fun. I play all of the Wii Sports games, like bowling, tennis, and baseball. That's a lot of fun."
"I think the physicality of the Wii gets people off the couch. Sometimes you can just sit there playing a video game for hours and never move and you're brain is just zapped from playing the game. With the Wii, you're up on your feet and moving around. The physical aspect of it is great, especially for kids. They actually call it the Wii Diet, since active players can burn calories!
Hey, whatever works. Obesity is ridiculous with kids today in our country. Anything that helps is great. You know, West Virginia is using Dance Dance Revolution in all schools as part of P.E. I know a lot of public school programs don't even have P.E. these days. That's crazy. It wasn't even an option when I was a kid. What the heck! I remember climbing up the rope, doing the mile run and all of that stuff."
Unlike most computer and console games, the Wii offers a really good physical workout. For instance, a certain boxing game is said to burn around 560 calories per hour.
Also, Nintendo Wii will be coming out with a new game called Wii Fit that will be like having an electronic personal trainer.

The confrontation was loud and they broke up right there. News of their break-up followed a few days later. Jake and his bf are currently expecting a baby through a surrogate. They used a company based in Westwood, CA. The baby is due in September.

She was booked at the Valley Jail in Van Nuys, California late Sunday night and released on $100,000 early Monday morning, reports our friends at TMZ.
Sources told TMZ that Rebecca's current husband, Dennis, was a passenger in the car and suffered a broken arm.
Broussard was arrested under her former married name of Rebecca Kelly, and is due to appear back in court September 17th. Broussard and Nicholson have a daughter, Lorraine, 17, and a son, Raymond, 15.
You would think that Rebecca would be old enough to know better! Shame on her ... what a great role model she must be!

Scarlett Johansson, claimed working with Nicholas Art, 8, in the upcoming film The Nanny Diaries made her realize she would like to have children of her own someday. Scarlett said she would also considering adopting a child sometime in the future.
I would love to have kids. I haven't really figured it out yet. I can see having a kid or two. And I would like to adopt children. I think I'm tender with children. I got along really well with [Nicholas]. It made me feel young, like you're sort of 9 again.
For now, Scarlett will keep busy with a successful career; The Nanny Diaries opened this weekend.

Clinton's appearance was announced Monday in an e-mail - "The first interview about his new passion!" - sent to members of Winfrey's book club.
Winfrey, who interviewed Clinton in 2004 for his memoir "My Life," has good reason to think highly of the new book. "Giving" praises Winfrey's "Angel Network," which has donated millions of dollars around the world, from money for schools in Africa to relief aid for victims of Hurricane Katrina.
The book also includes comments from Winfrey, who was asked why she started the Angel Network, and another charitable organization, the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls.
"I wanted to give back what I was given, a sense of worth," she replied. "Everyone wants to matter."
Clinton has other interviews planned next week, including one with Larry King on CNN and with David Letterman on CBS television's "Late Show."

In the suit, filed today in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Cerio says she acted as LeBlanc's manager from 1994 to 1995. In a letter filed with the lawsuit, dated April 4, 1994, LeBlanc directs that "a check in the amount of 15% of the gross compensation for pilot and series derived from 'Friends Like Us'" be made payable to Cerio. "Friends Like Us" was the original title of NBC's hit series, "Friends."
Cerio says Matt told her that her services would no longer be needed in 1995, but she claims he continued to call her for career advice well into 1998. Cerio says Matt, as proved by the signed letter, owes her in excess of $1 million bucks.
Cerio is demanding LeBlanc open up his books and show her the money ... proving just how much he made from "Friends" and its ill-fated spinoff, "Joey."
A rep for LeBlanc told us, "In a land of meritless lawsuits, this is the king of all cases without merit."

Britney Spears could be facing a child abuse investigation, according to reports.
US gossip websites and numerous publications are reporting that lawyers for both Britney and ex Kevin Federline were present at a court hearing on Monday.
Also present at the hearing was a lawyer who investigates child abuse claims.
Website MSNBC quoted Los Angeles criminal defence attorney Steve Cron, as saying that if the 25-year-old’s children were in danger there would be an investigation.
The website went on to claim that the matter could end up in a full hearing, where Britney and K-Fed can both call witnesses and experts to make their respective cases.
MSNBC added that it was not known whether the concerns were over one or both parents.

Echoing earlier rumours from her time in Promises earlier in the summer, Lindsay Lohan is rumoured to have caught in a semi-naked clinch with another resident.
A source claiming to be from the Cirque Lodge in Utah told the News of the World: “Staff were alerted to the bathroom because there were strange noises coming from inside and two voices could be heard.”
“When they opened the door, Lindsay was in a compromising position with the guy - who’s also at Cirque for drug rehab. He was a good looking guy - tall, with brown hair and quite muscular… just what Lindsay likes. Rumours spread like wildfire across the place that they’d been having sex.”
“When staff found them they were all flustered and Lindsay’s hair was all over the place.”
“They looked like two naughty children who had been caught kissing behind the bike sheds.”
The source added that Lindsay “has been throwing tantrums like a little kid, telling everyone that she misses partying.”
