Paris Hilton has filed a federal lawsuit over a $2.49 Hallmark greeting card that uses a photo of the heiress and her trademarked phrase "That's Hot."
In a complaint filed in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles, Hilton alleges that Hallmark has, among other transgressions, misappropriated her image and invaded her privacy with the card.
According to the lawsuit, the greeting card, which purports to show Hilton's "first day as a waitress," was first distributed earlier this year and remains on sale. Hilton is seeking at least $500,000 in actual damages and a permanent injunction barring Hallmark from further exploitation of her name and likeness.
Beauty Angelina Jolie goes virtually nude for the adult fantasy film Beowulf.
Jolie plays the mother of Grendel the monster, who is the father of all evil from Anglo-Saxon mythology.
Filmed in a photo-realistic animation style, the release has been described by the Los Angeles Times as a "hyper violent and highly sexualized tale".
A lot has been said about Jessica Alba’s sexy body, but the actress herself doesn’t pay attention to news about her weight.
The 26-year-old says that she doesn’t take notice of speculations surrounding her alleged weight loss, and adds that she doesn’t diet at all. I don’t listen to it. I don’t read it. I think it would make me crazy if I did, she said.
Alba further said that she doesn’t do anything to keep her sexy frame intact. I haven’t really worked out in two months, but I do like to do yoga. I’m not on a diet, she added. The actress however, admitted to one healthy habit. I drink a lot of water, she said.
This past week's nude photo scandal isn't the first for "High School Musical" star Vanessa Hudgens, say some sources.
A source close to Hudgens told People Magazine that two years ago, before she was famous, Hudgens emailed suggestive pix of herself to Nickelodeon star Drake Bell -- star of the "Drake and Josh" show. No word on if she rang his bell.
A rep for Drake says he never received the alleged sexy shots.

Kid Rock and Tommy Lee were involved in a fight at the MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas last night.
The two musicians, who have both dated actress Pamela Anderson in the past, had to be separated after Kid Rock allegedly threw a punch at the Motley Crue drummer.
According to The Sun, Lee whispered a comment about the 'Cowboy' singer as he walked past him, prompting the scrap.
Music producer Richard Nice said: "It looked like Tommy initiated the fight because Kid was ignoring him. Tommy looked like he was trying to aggressively retaliate and then Kid hit him again.
"Security then grabbed Tommy in a headlock and pulled him off."
Plain White T's vocalist Tom Higginson, who attended the ceremony, commented: "They were just holding each other, grabbing each other. Security had to break them up."
Rock has reportedly been issued with a court summons for misdemeanour battery, and faces a $500 penalty and possibly six months behind bars.
Actor Jamie Foxx mocked the rockers' brawl later in the evening, telling the audience: "Stop all of this white-on-white crime. Tommy Lee and Kid Rock fighting like black folks - it's hilarious."

Paris Hilton told the star-studded crowd at a Las Vegas nightclub that pop singer Christina Aguilera is having a baby, People.com reported.
"Congratulations to the most beautiful pregnant woman in the world. You're gorgeous," Hilton said as she took the microphone at a party Aguilera was hosting early Sunday at LAX Nightclub.
Aguilera and her husband, music marketing executive Jordan Bratman, have never publicly confirmed they are expecting their first child, although baby rumors have been swirling for some time.
As Hilton made the announcement about Aguilera’s expecting, the singer buried her head into her husband’s shoulder while their friends appeared shocked, People.com said.
The couple then looked at each other and laughed as the news was greeted with applause.
