Reese Witherspoon is finally opening up about the end of her marriage to Ryan Phillippe.
In the new issue of Elle magazine, Reese says, "Right around Christmastime I was sitting in a parking lot and I felt like I just couldn't get out of the car. It was like, I can't get out of the car."
Reese and Ryan split in October 2006. They have two children together: Ava, 8, and Deacon, 4.
Though that was her moment of desperation, Reese says she found strength by putting her painful divorce in perspective.
"I thought, Okay, half of the parking lot has dealt with this. More than half of the parking lot has dealt with this," she says. "Okay, let's make it a little bigger. Half of this city has dealt with this. Okay, let's make it a little bigger – half of this country, until I finally got out of the car."
She adds, "It was this moment of self-discovery and loss of identity and who was stepping out of the car, you know? Who is that person?"

For most celebrities, the uproar is only temporary, and not career ending.
As nude photos go, the "High School Musical" star's photo circulating the Internet is pretty tame, but that hasn't stopped the nuclear publicity fallout. Like all the stars of Disney's billion-dollar franchise, the 18-year-old Hudgens has been held out as the anti-Britney, the chaste, sweet girl whom parents can proudly point to as a non-promiscious role model. She'd even picked up a Neutrogena endorsement to hawk blemish-free, innocent skin. After the incriminating photos hit the Web on Thursday, Hudgens had to issue a contrite mea culpa: "I want to apologize to my fans, whose support and trust means the world to me. I am embarrassed over this situation and regret having ever taken these photos." Disney issued its own statement: "Vanessa has apologized for what was obviously a lapse in judgment." Disney is still negotiating with all the film's stars to return for a big-screen version of "High School Musical 3."
In 1984, Williams crashed the color barrier when she became the first African American to be named Miss America. But her victory was short-lived when nude photos of Williams with lesbian overtones were published by Penthouse. Williams was forced to resign her crown, but the actress-singer has had the last laugh, re-creating her career with well-received performances in such Broadway hits as "Kiss of the Spider Woman" and "Into the Woods," and selling more than 6 million albums of her music. She now stars as the villainous Wilhelmina Slater in the hit TV series "Ugly Betty."
The celebutante rocketed to worldwide fame when a three-year-old sex tape, featuring her and ex-boyfriend Rick Salomon, appeared one week before the 2003 debut of her Fox reality series, "The Simple Life." The tape was later released on DVD under the title "1 Night in Paris." One of the most explicit celebrity sex tapes ever, the film shows Hilton interrupting intercourse to answer her cellphone, a scene that has provided fodder for countless comedians and parody-makers.
In 1985, Penthouse and Playboy rushed to publish nude photos taken in the 1970s of the then-unknown Madonna, just as the singer's breakout album, "Like a Virgin," was riding the charts. Madonna issued a statement, "I'm not ashamed," and later tried to push the boundaries of public acceptance of nudity and sexuality with such projects as her 1992 book, "Sex.".

"I think country is the only pure, storytelling kind of genre left."

Katie Holmes gets in some alone time by visiting some art galleries in Paris on Tuesday.
After having lunch on her own at the Hotel Costes, Katie walked around in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, located around the church of the former Abbey of Saint-Germain-des-Prés.
Ms. Holmes was stopped on the street multiple times by fans and gladly posed (and smiled) with all of them.

Oprah Winfrey is leaving $30 million to her dogs in her will.
The billionaire businesswoman has four beloved pet pooches and has already set up a trust fund to take care of them should anything happen to her.
A source told Australia's Woman's Day magazine: "Oprah has a menagerie of animals and she wants them to be pampered for the rest of their lives if she were to die first.
"She has four dogs, plus various other pets, so she rewrote her will to include millions for their care.
"Oprah's a billionaire, so $30 million is not a lot of money if you look at her entire net worth."
The chat show star has two Cocker Spaniels, Sophie and Soloman, and two Golden Retrievers. A third Golden Retriever, Gracie, tragically choked to death in May this year.

Simon Cowell claims Britney Spears could have killed her career after her disastrous performance at the MTV Video Music Awards.
The music mogul says there's no way he would have let the 'Toxic' singer - who opened the Las Vegas ceremony on Sunday (09.09.07) - take to the stage if he was her manager.
The 'X Factor' judge told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "If I had been looking after Britney I'd have taken one look at her in rehearsals and I wouldn't have allowed her on the stage.
"The song wasn't right, the image wasn't right and she just wasn't rehearsed. If she'd turned up and given that performance on 'The X Factor' auditions I wouldn't have put her through to the next round.
"The problem she has now is that she could have killed her career. It's difficult to come back from that performance, for a while at least."
During her lip-syncing routine of new single 'Gimme More', the 25-year-old mother-of-two looked bleary eyed and unfit as she struggled to keep up with her energetic backing dancers, who threw themselves around stripper poles in an S+M-inspired set.
Despite Simon's damning view of her performance, Britney is being offered a second chance at a comeback by a US TV show.
Bosses at 'Extra' have invited Britney to their studios to "show the world what you've got".
A statement released by the programme said: "'Extra' is opening its doors to Britney Spears for a second chance at a comeback.
"We've made the call to Spears, inviting her to perform at 'Extra' on our stage in Los Angeles or in Las Vegas at the Extra Lounge in Planet Hollywood's Hotel and Resort.
"Britney come perform 'Gimme More' and show the world what you've got."

Madonna doesn’t want you to forget about her. She also doesn’t want husband Guy Ritchie to grow testicles. That’s why she walked out of London’s Claridge’s Hotel carrying a strap-on in a see-through bag for anyone to see.

Victoria Beckham and David Beckham are the most overrated people in the world according to Radar magazine.
The magazine has an overrated 100 list which is said to be a 'scientific survey of the world'.
David was labeled an 'overpaid soccer star' and his wife was dubbed as a 'pointless collection of body parts.'
We hear the overpaid soccer star every day but the pointless collection of body parts referring to Posh is hilarious. She has such a good sense of humor, I think she will even find that funny.
