Britney Spears has been banned from an exclusive hotel in Los Angeles after fellow guests complained about her behaviour, according to reports. The Toxic star is alleged to have shocked diners at the Chateau Marmont hotel's restaurant after she smeared food over her face - which led to her being thrown out of the establishment.
A source tells British newspaper The Sun, "The diners were disgusted. You wouldn't expect that from a teenager in a fast food joint. Royalty have dined in this restaurant. Her behaviour was totally unacceptable." A source at the hotel adds, "Staff at the Chateau have been told she is not welcome. She constantly looked out of it when she came in and a few of the guests began to make noises."
The hotel acted before she made a big scene. No-one wants to be banned from staying at the Chateau.

Britney Spears' ex-husband is embarking on another controversial romance -- with the woman who once appeared in a sex tape with Irish movie hunk Colin Farrell.
The rapper/dancer was spotted dirty dancing with Nicole Narain at two Hollywood hotspots on Thursday night.
The couple "bumped and grinded" on the dance floor at top club Vice before moving on to a party at another trendy hang-out, Opera.
A bystander who spotted the couple "letting it all hang out" at Financially Hung's Black Card Party at Vice says, "She was clearly making advances and he loved it.
"Federline kissed her on the cheek -- but I think that was only because he knew all eyes were on him."
The couple left the club separately but hooked up again at Opera early on Friday morning.

The 'Little Children' actress is one of 60 celebrities to donate a drawing or painting to the event, which takes place later this month.
Other stars include jazz musician Jamie Callum, Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant and British TV presenter Chris Tarrant.
Online bidding will end on October 11 at 5pm (GMT), and the artwork will then be auctioned at Bath's Guildhall, in England, on October 13.
All web bids will be listed with the auctioneer and included in the final sale.

The lawyer of Britney's ex-husband Kevin Federline is reportedly bringing a "secret" witness to a court hearing in Los Angeles at 8.30am, whose evidence could see two-year-old Sean Preston and one-year-old Jayden James immediately removed from Britney's care.
According to Fox news, Kevin's lawyer Gloria Allred filed a signed declaration from the witness, who is described only "as a man who has had close observation of Spears' behaviour with her kids", to the judge hearing the closed court case last week.
The 'secret witness' declaration is believed to contain a testimony claiming Britney, 25, has used drugs in her home and in front of her children.
Commissioner Scott Gordon - who is hearing the case - is able to rule or dismiss the testimony in its written form but the witness could be called to give evidence in court today if the 'Toxic' singer's legal team wish to cross-examine him.
Allred said: "You may recognise him as we walk into court. But maybe not. He is not famous. He's just someone who's concerned about the kids."
Britney and her attorney Laura Wasser will have learned the witness' name when the declaration was filed on Friday (14.09.07).

Jessica Simpson is allegedly planning to have a baby with her gay hairdresser.
The single actress - who has made no secret of her desire to have children and has spoken of adopting - is planning to have artificial insemination and her long-term friend and stylist Ken Paves wants to be the father.
A source told More magazine, "Jessica has considered adopting but I think she has always wanted to experience pregnancy.
"She's an old-fashioned girl. I'm sure she wants a child who is biologically hers.
"She and Ken were having dinner and Jess was moaning about how she couldn't find a man to commit and how immature the guys she has dated have been.
"Jess suggested artificial insemination. Ken is just as eager to have a baby, but his boyfriend isn't as keen on the idea.
"However, she and Ken agreed to begin the process in the next six months."
But the rumor that Jessica Simpson is planning on have a baby with her gay hairdresser has been dismissed by her rep.
Jessica Simpson's representative, Lauren Auslander, tells gossip website TheCelebrityTruth.com: "There is no truth to this statement whatsoever."
