Emmy award winner Katherine Heigl is praying for Britney Spears, and hopes that she recovers from her career landslide.
She told TMZ.com: “I hope to God she finds her way."
The Grey's Anatomy star – who won her Emmy for Oustanding Actress in a Drama Series - claims that Hollywood has taken it’s toll on the Toxic star, who has been under the media spotlight since the tender age of sixteen.
"If you don't have the time and experience to know yourself well enough, this can be the result," claims Heigl.
She added: "My heart breaks for her — she's been showered with a lot of attention at a very young age."
Spears made headlines yesterday after an L.A. judge ruled that she would have to undergo twice weekly drug tests in order the maintain the 50/50 custody agreement she currently holds with ex husband Kevin Federline.
The 25-year-old made more headlines when she was spotted at two L.A. nightclubs within hours of the judge discussing her ‘habitual drug abuse.’
According to numerous publications Spears was drinking heavily at both clubs.
"They kept bringing [Spears] shots," a fellow partygoer told People.
"She was dancing on the tables trying to be really sexy, even putting a black sock over her head as a hat, and putting on a show for everyone."

Britney Spears has been given a public boost by her teenage sweetheart Justin Timberlake. As the troubled pop star fights for custody of her two young sons and attempts to salvage her career amid allegations of eating disorders and drug use, her famous ex has come to her defence in a new TV interview.
Timberlake appeared on Wednesday's (19Sep07) Oprah show in America, where he agreed to discuss something he rarely talks about - his ex-girlfriend. The awkward pop singer, choosing his words carefully, said,
"I haven't spoken to her in years. I mean, there's no ill will - I have nothing but love for her. "We dated each other at a time... We were teenagers, you know?" Asked to comment on Spears' public problems, her ex added, "I think she's a great person, and I don't know her as well as I did. What I do know about her is she has a huge heart."

She may have been caught in a nude Internet photo scandal - but Vanessa Hudgens may bare all again off for a men's magazine.
The High School Musical star, 18, recently admitted to posing naked for snaps for boyfriend Zac Efron - which were then posted on the web.
And she says: "I think being a woman and being able to show a sexy side is empowering.
"Being able to show we are comfortable in our skin is a good thing. I totally would pose for a sexy magazine. But not Playboy."
Vanessa is also reportedly being wooed with a £250,000 offer from US soft porn tycoon Joe Francis, head of Girl Gone Wild.
Francis, currently in prison for fraud, said: "Vanessa is the classic girl next door gone wild. Being sexual is not a crime."

One party guest said: "...just seconds after her grand entrance, Courtney, failing to spot the huge train at the end of Kate's dress, trod on it with both heels causing a very slight rip."
"Throughout the course of the evening the hole, which started just above the small of her back, began to spread. She took it in surprisingly good humour though, shrugging it off with a giggle," the guest said.

Insiders say Winfrey wanted to have her on her show to talk about O'Donnell's book, "Celebrity Detox," which bashes Barbara Walters, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Donald Trump and others.
But while many would kill to be on Oprah's program, which sells books by the boatload, O'Donnell declined. "She's doing an interview with Diane Sawyer instead," our spy said.
