Angelina Jolie has been replaced as the face of St. John, for whom she'd been modeling since September 2005.
“Putting celebrities in campaigns is the biggest trend right now, everyone is doing it, but it didn’t work for St. John with Angelina," a fashion industry insider explains to OK!. "The people that wear St. John just didn’t relate to her.”
St. John’s collections are largely comprised of conservative suit outfits and are wardrobe staples of women such as Condoleeza Rice and Hillary Clinton.

Supermodel socialite Kate Moss got into a row with actress Sienna Miller at the weekend, after accusing the Layer Cake star of copying her style.
Coming from a woman whose style is branded across Topshop stores the world over, this could be seen as being a bit much, but Kate seemed to think it was a big deal.
An onlooker to the row - which occurred at a mutual friend's wedding reception on Saturday - told the Sun newspaper: "Kate had a go at Sienna and accused her of stealing her style.
"She was ranting on about how Sienna was now trying to steal her lifestyle and her friends too."
The source added that both of the women had been drinking and Sienna "gave Kate as good as she got".

Milla Jovovich has gained almost 70 pounds in the last four months after gorging on the nutty spread.
She said: "I'm happy to tell all the pregnant ladies out there that I've gone from 130 pounds to 193 pounds. It's a lot of weight to put on quickly and I only have myself to blame.
"I could eat peanut butter sandwiches and bagels all day. I see no problem with it.
"Of course my doctor does see a problem with it. So I've gone cold turkey on the bread. I'm doing chicken and veggies and trying to be the healthiest mother.
"But if I could continue with the peanut butter, I'd be the happiest mom in the world!"

Weeks after nude pictures of 18-year-old Disney star Vanessa Hudgens hit the internet, she was back on the town as one of Us's honored Power Players at our annual Hot Hollywood event.
Despite reports that Hudgens was a no-show, Us cameras caught her arriving quietly through a back entrance where she excitedly asked, "who else is here?" before finding fellow teen-queen Miley Cyrus.
Not just clothed but well-dressed, Hudgens wore her answer to inquiries about the photo scandal on her lips -- literally. Make-up artist Brett Freedman tells Usmagazine.com that he used Benefit's lip gloss in "Next Question Please" to complete Hudgens' sophisticated look

The singer, who was one of Spears' closest friends when she started out in the music business, recently admitted he was shocked by her ill-advised performance at the MTV Video Music Awards earlier this month (Sep07). And Fatone has now offered Spears, who is in the middle of a much-publicised child custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline, a place to recuperate out of the spotlight.
He says, "Poor girl, she needs some help. Come over to my house and my wife'll whip her into shape. Come back to Orlando and take a break for awhile, from LA and stuff."

Pamela Anderson and Denise Richards are considering an offer from Playboy magazine to post nude for $1 million.
Hugh Hefner apparently wants the pair to pose together for the January 2008 edition of Playboy.
A source told Globe magazine the pair hadn't committed to the spread "but they're seriously considering it".
Both Anderson and Richards have appeared in Playboy before. Anderson has appeared nude in the magazine a record 12 times, while Richards stripped for the December 2004 issue.
The pair became good friends while filming the movie Blonde and Blonder together.
Earlier this month, it was reported that Hugh Hefner turned down Britney Spears for the magazine as she wanted $1 million.
He made a counter offer of $400,000, which was declined.

Speaking at the Clinton Global Initiative, an event organized by Bill Clinton to address the most pressing global concerns, Jolie urged the world to "prioritize in order".
The UN goodwill ambassador insisted that an entire UNICEF appeal for educational needs would cost only as much as eight hours' spending in Iraq - and would help benefit 150,000 children.
"The entire appeal equals about eight hours of current spending in Iraq. So just a few hours would send 150,000 children to school," she said.
"Nothing wins more hearts and minds and nothing gives more freedom than education; and nothing is a better deterrent for conflict than an educated child," she added.
