David Hasselhoff is said to be currently recovering in hospital following a 'severe drinking relapse.' The former Baywatch star 'fell off the wagon' and immediately sought out help, and according to his spokesperson, is expected home this morning.
“David had a brief relapse and immediately recognised the importance of addressing it with the assistance of his doctors. He is doing fine and will be back home in the morning.” The spokesman said in a statement yesterday.
However, a source told the Daily Star newspaper in the UK:
“He looked awful when they brought him in. His colour was ashen. It was just so sad. David does so well staying sober and then something kicks in and he’s back drinking.Hasselhoff's career seems to be on the up and up, and following a stint as a judge on America's Got Talent, he was also yesterday rumoured to be starring in a sequel to the hit cult flick Anaconda.
“Most times he does remarkably well. Then every once in a while he slips up and relapses. Then he has to start all over again.” They added.

Demi Moore wants to start a family with her toyboy husband Ashton Kutcher.
The Ghost star, 44, already has three daughters with her ex-partner Bruce Willis, but feels a new addition would make her brood complete.
She says, "We would love that. It would be just fantastic. We are doing lots of practising. And you can't complain about practising with him."
And Moore still can't believe she has found happiness with the 29-year-old funnyman, adding: "On paper, if someone had said: you are going to marry somebody who is 25, as he was then, who sees a woman with three kids as a bonus, I would have laughed."

As many as 40 doctors and other employees at the Palisades Medical Center in North Bergen, N.J., got suspensions for allegedly leaking confidential medical information about the couple in violation of federal law, according to broadcast and Internet reports.
Told about the fallout firings, Clooney went to bat for the workers: he told “Extra.”
PMC spokesman Eurice Rojas couldn’t be reached for comment, but the hospital said in a statement it takes any violation of a law seriously and that it was investigating.
Clooney broke a rib and got scraped up in the Sept. 21 crash in Weehawken, while his passenger, Sarah Larson, broke her foot when their motorcycle collided with a car on a narrow street.
Those suspended were accused of passing Clooney’s medical records on to the press.
Seven members of the Health Professionals and Allied Employees Union were suspended without pay for four weeks, said spokeswoman Jeanne Oterson.

The timing is good though: the sentencing will be announced on December 21, the day 24 takes a their break. He could actually go to jail for longer than that, six months, if the judge wants him in there longer for violating his probabtion from a 2004 arrest. Merry Christmas Kiefer! Maybe the Prison Break guys can help him get out, and they can film it for another reality show.

On her second DUI arrest in less than two months: "[I hit] rock bottom. Everything in my life came to a point where I had to make a decision; the arrest that night helped me come to a point where I had to make one."
On how she plans to stay on the road to recovery: "[By surrounding myself] with good people who have their hearts and their minds in the right places."
On her small role in her new film about Tango legend Carlos Gardel: "I'm staying in Utah until it's time to shoot Dare to Love Me and then I plan on returning to Utah so I can stay focused and avoid other distractions."
On not saying goodbye to Hollywood: "Absolutely not - never! I'm here to stay. My talent is a gift, and I'm going to use it in the right way."
On her parents' feud: "I wish it would stop. It hurts when two people you love argue with one another. I don't think any child wants to see their parents argue or see their family fall apart. Unfortunately, it happens, and when it does, they should do it with as little effect on their children as possible."
On rehab: "[It was] sobering [and] humbling. It made me look at myself, and all of the people, places and things in my life in a different way. I was in there for substance abuse, after all."
On the potential of relapse: "If I wasn't [worried], I'd be living in denial. Temptation is always there, but now I'll avoid it the right way."

"He still gives me a monthly allowance - he insists! And to be honest I appreciate that, it makes me feel more normal."

Britney Spears' sister leapt to her defence when a member of the public yelled abuse at the star in a shopping centre.
Britney and Jamie Lynn, 16, were on their way to a sushi restaurant in LA when a passer-by launched a verbal attack.
According to onlookers, the woman yelled: "Nobody wants you in this neighbourhood, you are making the neighbourhood not safe. You make this neighbourhood not safe to live in."
Jamie Lynn then lunged at the stranger and screamed: "Then move the f**k out!" before escorting her older sister to her car.
The woman then tried to raise her hands to Jamie Lynn and a worried Britney pleaded with the photographers to protect them.
Jamie Lynn told a video cameraman: "Don't let her come near me. Don't let her touch me anymore."
The pair were reportedly seen laughing about the incident as they drove away.

Charlize Theron has an Oscar, a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild award. Now she's Esquire magazine's "sexiest woman alive."
Past winners of the title include Jessica Biel, Angelina Jolie and Scarlett Johansson. The issue featuring Theron hits newsstands Oct. 16.
Theron talked with the magazine about growing up on a farm, her political interests and her work, including her latest movie, "In the Valley of Elah," a murder mystery set among U.S. troops newly returned from Iraq.
"I wanted to make the movie precisely because it evades formulas about guilt," the 32-year-old actress said. "I'm drawn to ambiguity."

Now that she’s finally out of rehab, Lindsay Lohan has a new lease on life. And she’s already hooking up with a hunky snowboarder.
According to reports, the Mean Girls actress is spending tons of time with her new boyfriend, Riley Giles, a 25-year-old California stud. She confirmed the relationship in a recent interview.
She told In Touch Weekly, “Yes, I am seeing someone. His name is Riley, I am really happy and taking it day by day.” Perhaps focusing on her career and new relationship will help LiLo avoid the pitfalls that she fell prey to in her past.
She said, “Going out all the time was very self-destructive. Partying and having all of those pictures taken distracts from the work that I do. It’s not why I started acting. I didn’t get into acting to be written about. I want to act like a woman rather than a teenager. I am doing the best I can.”
