"I am very excited to be here, a great market for me. I think the Korean market is great for me," the 27-year-old heiress to the Hilton hotel empire told reporters.
Hilton arrived in Seoul on Wednesday from Tokyo, where she had been a judge in a beauty contest.
She was invited by Fila Korea, the sportswear maker she has represented since March. The value of her one-year contract has been estimated at one million dollars.

Spies say the Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry and her model boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry, are expecting a baby boy in several months. "She's so excited," one source said. "She says she's never been happier than now, when she's pregnant."
This will be Berry's first biological child - she adopted her second husband Eric Benet's daughter, India, during the couple's disastrous four-year marriage, which ended in 2005.
So, if you're looking to buy Halle Berry a baby present, get her something in blue.

Spice Girls Tesco Commercial features all of the Spice Girls - Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton, and Melanie Brown trying to hide from each other as they shop for Christmas gifts for one another.
A Tesco spokesman said:
“We are thrilled to be working with the Spice Girls for our Christmas campaign. We feel that the new commercials really emphasise Tesco’s commitment to offer something different and exciting this Christmas.”
It has been rumored that Tesco is about to sign on a deal to sponsor the Spice Girls’ reunion tour starting in December. They paid each of the Spice Girls $2 million dollars to appear in their ads.

Christina Aguilera celebrated her pending motherhood with a baby shower on Saturday at her home in Beverly Hills.
The shower, the first of three planned for the expectant mom, according to a source, was an intimate gathering of close friends and family.
Though the singer has not confirmed the gender of her baby, there was a distinctive theme to the gifts – the color blue.
Among the presents bought from baby boutique Bel Bambini, where the singer set up her registry last month, were a blue Loved Mom Guitar shirt, a Cariboo bassinet with blue dot bedding, Trumpette Johnny's socks – and Sozo Whiz Kid wee block, meant for use when changing a baby boy's diapers.
Aguilera, 26, formally confirmed her pregnancy to Glamour magazine earlier this month, saying she will "enter into mommyhood" next year.

There seems to be little doubt that the writers' strike will result in a shorter TV season, but just how short are we talking? Well, as you might've guessed, it varies from show to show. Those programs that are either highly efficient (Friday Night Lights) or have entered the season with a backlog of episodes (Men in Trees, Law & Order: SVU) will be in originals well into the new year. But series with tighter production schedules (i.e., nearly every half-hour comedy) will go dark almost immediately. Of course, figuring out how many episodes remain in your favorite shows' arsenals requires a lot of numbers crunching — and as I've come to learn, the only thing you Ausholes despise more than a Wednesday without AA is mathematics. With that in mind, I pulled together this incredibly handy (and 85 percent complete) cheat sheet. Keep in mind: The information below is subject to change, particularly if both sides get back to the bargaining table and resolve this frakkin' thing!
