On artists she admires:

On her ex-boyfriend Talon Torriero from MTV’s Laguna Beach:
“I wasn’t looking to date anybody because I was halfway into the Pussycat Dolls thing. And we met and he wouldn’t let up. And he was persistent, and you know what, it worked.”
If she could date any celebrity:
“I think one time I was like, ‘Matthew McConaughey is such a hottie and he’s a surfer.’ I used to kinda have a crush on him. Everybody loves that guy from The Notebook [Ryan Gosling]. Every girl watches and is like, ‘That’s gonna be me one day. It’s gonna be my guy.”
On not being very Internet-savvy and her distaste for blogs:
“I don’t know how to work an Internet. I don’t know how to get on my MySpace. But I don’t really read blogs. The couple that I do, they break my heart, so I don’t like them. But it’s okay because it keeps the eye of the tiger in me.”

Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles found time to have a quiet celebration together in Paris to mark Jay-Z's 38th birthday.
After joining Kanye West on stage for a surprise performance in England on December 2nd, Jay-Z headed to the Hotel Meurice in Paris where his longtime "bootylicious" girlfriend joined him for a quiet day of rest and relaxation.
Jay-Z has been known for staging elaborate birthday celebrations in the past but this year opted for a more private affair, spending most of the day in his hotel suite.
According to sources, Beyonce Knowles took time to hit the hotel's luxury spa before the couple took a romantic limo ride around the city ending at the popular L'Avenue restaurant for dinner.
After a late dinner, Jay-Z and Beyonce headed over to the famed Crazy Horse cabaret where they sipped champagne and watched nude dancers run through the club's latest show, "Forever Crazy."
Jay-Z and Beyonce have been linked together since their collaboration on Jay-Z's 2002 song "03 Bonnie and Clyde," but the two continue to try and keep their romantic relationship out of the public spotlight.

The paparazzi are out to get Hayden Panettiere – with their cameras – but one thing they won't catch the Heroes star doing is behaving like another young star.
"For God knows what reason, they compare me with Lindsay Lohan!" Panettiere, 18, tells Teen magazine for its winter issue. "It's kind of become, 'All right, you guys can stay there and try knocking me off my horse.' I want to prove them wrong now."
To that end, the actress-activist – who had a warrant out for her arrest after she protested against fisherman in an attempt to help save the dolphins in Japan – says she's also trying to help young Hollywood present a better image to the world.
"I think that, now more than ever, young girls need a good role model," she says. "My mom always says, 'You are the books you read and the people you surround yourself with."

Eva Mendes is the stripped star in the new poster, which will be unveiled in Rockefeller Plaza at some point on Thursday (06Dec07), but city authorities have asked the organisers not to announce the time or exact place of the event.
The lovely Latina bares all in PETA's hot new holiday ad campaign, and she'll unveil it in person.
Eva Mendes admits she was inspired to bare all for PETA by her beloved pet dog.
She says, "Killing a poor animal and wearing her fur isn't cool. Respecting all life forms is cool."
Eva Mendes, who wears designs created by Stella McCartney in the new ad, joins a long list of celebrities who have starred in PETA's iconic naked campaign, including Alicia Silverstone, Pamela Anderson and Christy Turlington.

Dennis Quaid and wife Kimberly Buffington are suing a drug company, after hospital staff gave their newborn infants an overdose of the drug, Heparin.
Now the actor has filed a lawsuit against Baxter Healthcare, the makers of the drug.
TMZ reports: “They filed suit because they want to prevent this from happening to any other children, Loggans said. The suit claims the Baxter is liable and negligent because the packaging of the 10 unit vial of Heparin looks almost exactly as the 10,000-units-per-milliliter vial of the drug.”
Meanwhile Dennis’ lawyer has confirmed to People that the twins have made recovered fully from their ordeal.
Susan E. Loggans said: "The twins are back home. Their condition is fantastic, they're smiling. Zoe looks like her mom, and Boone looks like his dad. They've fully recovered from the accident and it's doubtful they'll suffer long-term effects from the overdose."

“Britney and her pals wrote to Paris and told her they are hearing rumors of a new sex-tape scandal, similar to the ‘One Night In Paris’ footage her ex-boyfriend Rick Salomon put on the Web four years ago,” an insider told the Daily Star. “The letter also claims the tape shows footage of Paris locking lips with one of Britney’s female friends at a party.”
The correspondence wasn’t just FYI, as it warned the Paris, “If she continues being rude to people, the footage will be leaked online.” The source added, “Britney and her pals also end their note by telling Paris they look forward to hearing back from her.”
But Paris isn’t exactly shaking in her stylish boots over the threat, a source close to the heiress assured DS. “It’s obvious Britney and her bratty pals are being silly. Paris laughed when she got the letter, supposedly from Britney and said it was ‘crap.’”

The Spice Girls have hit back at reports that they mimed their way through their set on the opening night of their world tour in Vancouver on Sunday.
The quintet insisted that they sang live, despite a number of critics accusing them of lip-synching to a backing track during the show in front of 15,000 fans.
A spokesperson for the group said: "All of the girls sang live. There is a click track for the band to keep them in time, which is standard, but all of the girls' vocals were live."
San Jose, California is the next stop on the Spice Girls' tour. They will arrive back in Britain on 15 December when they will play London's O2 Arena followed by a further 16 shows in London before heading for Manchester.

In their exclusive interview and photo shoot with OK! magazine, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo open up about Christmas traditions in their home. "My dad plays the Beach Boys and Ray Charles Christmas albums," says Vanessa, while Nick's favorite things to do are, "putting up the tree, watching football, eating leftovers and going to midnight service on Christmas Eve with my grandparents."
As for marriage, Vanessa explains, "I’m not going to put a time on things and say I’m going to do this by this time. We’re happy today — no pressure for tomorrow."

The 33-year-old Hitch star has disrobed in a number of her film roles, including Training Day and new movie, We Own The Night, and is encouraging other women to embrace their curves.

Legal papers, filed by executives at Hydroderm skincare in Los Angeles on Tuesday, claim the "Desperate Housewives" actress promoted other beauty items, despite the fact she was paid $2.4 million to solely advertise Hydroderm products.
The lawsuit reads: "Hatcher's name, image and likeness have been linked to so many competitors' products that it is anyone's guess as to what product keeps her skin and lips youthful."
Hydroderm is seeking Hatcher's $2.4 million salary, unspecified damages and its legal costs.
However Hatcher is responding to the suit insisting the allegations are "totally false and completely without merit."
She insists she's the victim of the business deal because management changes at Hydroderm constantly left her unsure of the contract.
In a statement, the actress' lawyer says, "Clearly, Hydroderm has embarked on this unjustified and public assault on Teri Hatcher's good name, reputation and celebrity in a transparent and pathetic effort to distract from its own failure to live up to its end of the agreement.
"Ms. Hatcher will respond swiftly and decisively by appropriate legal means to recover everything she is owed under her contract, as well as compensatory and punitive damages for Hydroderm's outrageous accusations."

Troubled "Rehab" singer Amy Winehouse took a barefoot walk around chilly East London at 5:40 a.m. on Sunday, while wearing only a bra and jeans.
Winehouse, 24, had been partying at a friend's house before she was spotted muttering on the cold streets, the London Sun reported in Monday's editions.
"Amy came out and started stumbling around," one onlooker told the paper. "She popped her head over the fence like she was looking for something. "It was freezing, and she had no shoes and just a red bra," the onlooker added. "She was mumbling something incomprehensible. It wasn't the behavior of someone in the right state of mind."
Winehouse's representative told The Sun that the British R&B singer had been awakened by a sound and simply was out looking for what had caused it.
"Amy had been asleep and heard a noise," the representative said. "She went outside to investigate. She didn't realize the time."
