Mischa Barton was arrested Thursday morning for investigation of driving under the influence of alcohol and possessing marijuana after sheriff's deputies saw her car straddling two lanes of traffic.
The 21-year-old actress, who starred on Fox's teen drama "The O.C.," was driving on La Cienega Boulevard in West Hollywood when she was stopped at about 2:45 a.m., the AP reports.

According to a report from Fox News the pair were spotted getting cozy in a bar and sipping on some martinis last weekend.

OK! has confirmed with sources close to the ongoing custody war between Britney and ex-hubby Kevin Federline that the pop star is — once again — scheduled next week to be deposed by K-Fed's lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan. However, as the 26-year-old mother of two has blown off over a half-dozen previously scheduled attempts at being deposed — including two depositions ordered by the court! — many insiders are convinced that she will be a no-show for this one as well. But considering the potentially dire consequences for Brit, she might want to think twice before oversleeping or calling in sick next week.
"She could go to jail for contempt of court if she refuses to show," one legal eagle confirms to OK!. "That would be extreme for a child custody hearing, but not outside the realm of possibility." More likely, explains the courtroom insider, K-Fed's team could ask the court to impose monetary sanctions on Britney, who is already footing the bill for Kevin's legal expenses!
As things stand right now, barring any more emergency hearings, lawyers for Britney and Kevin are not due back in court until February, with the final custody hearing expected to start April 9.

Stacey Ann Ferguson, who goes by the stage name Fergie, was engaged to longtime love Josh Duhamel “recently,” her rep confirms. The couple’s engagement was announced yesterday and the singer is said to be “the happiest girl on earth.”
“Fergie called a lot of her girlfriends today to tell them the news,” says a source. “She said they don’t know what kind of wedding they want yet, but that she is the happiest girl on earth.”
The actress dumped snowboarder Riley Giles earlier this month, but Giles insists Lohan's sex addiction helped wean her off any illegal substances she was taking.
He tells Britain's the News of the World, "Lindsay's definitely a nymphomaniac. She's wild in bed. We'd have sex a couple of times in the day and then go to it through the night. We once did it four times in a row. That was crazy. Lindsay was insatiable.

The 39-year-old actor announced Wednesday that he and his wife, Afton, are ending their nine-year marriage.
"They continue to maintain a close and caring friendship," Fraser's publicist, Ina Treciokas, said in a statement.

"He doesn't get a dime from his daughters," the source says. "He busts his ass to take care of himself. That's why he's so furious with Lynne."
Jamie has been working long hours as a private chef to make a living while ex-wife Lynne, as Us Weekly reports in its latest issue (on newsstands now), arranged a $1 million deal with OK! magazine for the story of Jamie Lynn's pregnancy. Lynne also receives a percentage of her daughters' salaries.
Usmagazine.com reported last week, per a source close to the family, that Jamie "refused to take any money and 'profit off of his children.'"
While in LA, Jamie has seen his grandchildren, Sean Preston and Jayden James, the sons of his daughter Britney and her ex-husband Kevin Federline, Us has learned.
