Madonna has topped Hello! magazine's list of 'The Most Elegant Woman'.
The troubled singer took top spot with a well over a third of the 61,800 votes cast, reports the mag.
Hello! stated that the singer's "finely toned body that helps her carry off the freshest styles" was what vaulted her to the numero uno spot.
Coming in at second place on the list was new mum Christina Aguilera for turning "every appearance into a show of A-list maternity fashion."
Third spot went to Sarah Michelle Gellar for a "look all about easy glamour."
Rounding off the top five were Denmark's queen-in-waiting Princess Mary andicole Kidman, who came in fourth and fifth on the list respectively.

The members of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) have written an open letter to the Hollywood actor - who was named a United Nations Messenger Of Peace on Friday - to help in negotiations between themselves and the government of President Umaru Yar’Adua.
The letter reads: "Mr Clooney, MEND extends an invitation to you to see things for yourself and is willing to work with you and other credible peace makers of international repute to stop Nigeria from plunging into the abyss of war."
The MEND rebels in the Niger Delta - the oil-producing area of the African country - have been making the headlines since 2006 for their bomb attacks on oil facilities and kidnapping foreign workers in their efforts to secure control over the region’s oil.

Dr Who co-stars Kylie Minogue and David Tennant have “set tongues wagging” with a secret meeting at a London theatre.
The pair - who appeared together in the Dr Who Christmas special together - went to see Cinderella together at the Old Vic under the cover of secrecy.
A source tells the Mail, “They kept the visit top secret and slipped in and out before anyone in the theatre had a chance to notice an A-list star and a famous actor were in the stalls.”
The pair have reportedly maintained a close relationship with regular phone calls, although Tennant is currently seeing BBC worker Bethan Britton and Kylie has admitted she has started dating again - although she has refused to divulge any names.

Colin Farrell reportedly tried to woo Mary-Kate Olsen at the Sundance Film Festival.
The Irish actor, renowned for his womanising ways, snuggled up to the 21-year-old actress at Utah's Lift bar after the premiere of his new movie 'In Bruges' at the weekend.
A source told the New York Daily News newspaper: "Colin was clearly taken with Mary-Kate and snuggled up to her on the couch at the bar. I'm not sure if the feelings were mutual, though!"
As well attempting to charm Mary-Kate, Colin also tried his luck with a girl working the door of a nightclub and asked a publicist to accompany him on a trip.
