Heath Ledger's masseuse called Mary-Kate Olsen twice on discovering his body before contacting emergency services.
Police sources have confirmed Diana Wolozin used the speed dial on Ledger's mobile phone to call Olsen in California after finding the 'Brokeback Mountain' star unconscious at his New York apartment at 2.45pm on Tuesday (22.01.08).
A source told America's People magazine: "Wolozin arrived at the apartment and when Ledger did not come out of his bedroom she called his cell and got no answer. She went into the room and found him lying on the bed. She shook him but he did not respond. So she used his speed dial to call Olsen.
"Olsen told the masseuse she would call security people in New York for help. The masseuse then called Olsen back to say she would call 911 herself.
"Emergency services arrived at the apartment at almost the exact same time as Olsen's security people."
When news first broke of the 28-year-old actor's death, it was reported he had died at 21-year-old Olsen's apartment.
The couple had previously been romantically linked.

Soul singer Amy Winehouse, who this week appeared in video footage allegedly showing her smoking crack cocaine, has entered a rehab clinic, her record company said on Thursday.
The troubled 24-year-old, who has been dogged by frequent suggestions of drug taking in recent months, also cancelled a scheduled performance at an awards ceremony in France this Saturday, record company Universal Music Group said.
"Amy Winehouse's planned appearance at the NRJ Awards in France on Saturday has been cancelled as the artist has entered a rehabilitation clinic," the company said in a statement.
"Amy decided to enter the facility today after talks with her record label, management, family and doctors.
"She has come to understand that she requires specialist treatment to continue her ongoing recovery from drug addiction and prepare for her planned appearance at the Grammy Awards."
Winehouse is one of the country's top-selling singers, winning critical and commercial success with her album "Back to Black", which garnered six Grammy nominations in December.
The 2006 album has sold nearly five million copies worldwide, including 1.3 million in the United States.
Universal called her "the most talented and important musical artist of her generation" who had already "made huge strides on her road to recovery".
One of her most famous songs is called "Rehab", which opens with the lyrics: "They tried to make me go to rehab, I said 'no, no, no'."
She attended rehab clinics at least twice in 2007, according to media, but checked out on both occasions before her treatment was completed.

A studio source told The Sun, "Johnny's not working at the moment so everyone is praying he will do it." Still, it was mentioned that though the role would be given to the actor, Ledger's take on the film won't be re-shot.
The insider explained, "There is a point in the film when Heath falls through a magic mirror. He could change into another character after that and that is where Johnny would come in. It's a weird, fantasy, time-travel movie so Heath's character could easily change appearance. It would be a poignant moment."

Rumors began when Angelina declined alcohol at the recent Critics' Choice Awards, sticking to water. According to a "source", they just found out recently and are thrilled. A second source says,
Brad and Angelina are absolutely ecstatic. But I still think there will be more adoptions to come.

Kate Moss takes a bite of the Big Apple in a new ad campaign for designer Longchamp.
Photographer Mario Sorrenti teamed up with the supermodel - whose career was threatened after she was pictured snorting cocaine - for the New York-set shoot.
Moss, 34, can be seen posing in front of the Brooklyn Bridge and in front of the Manhattan skyline toting a selection of over sized bags.
A spokeswoman for Longchamp says of the campaign: “Opposite Brooklyn Bridge or at the very top of a South Manhattan tower the imagery is evokes an eighties spirit full of femininity, energy and fun.”
The ads are running in US magazines now.

The friend of Lindsay Lohan had filed a case against Hilton, whose real name is Mario Lavandeira, alleging defamation after he accused Ronson of being the owner of the cocaine found in Lohan's car in May.
Hilton argued he was entitled to the freedom of speech.
The court dumped the case in November, and Hilton attempted to reimburse his legal fees amounting to $85,000 from Ronson. On January 23, Superior Court Judge Elihu M. Berle ruled that Hilton is entitled to that claim.
His lawyer, Bryan Freedman, is pleased with the ruling. "Perez Hilton will take steps to make use every dime is collected. This should make one careful before filing a lawsuit against him."
Ronson's attorney, David M. Bass, says his client is considering an appeal.

Jamie Lynn Spears will give her baby to her mother in order to concentrate on her career, according to reports.
The 16-year-old stunned the world last month when she revealed she was pregnant with her first child, and now the "Zoey 101" star has allegedly agreed to let her mother Lynne bring up the child in a bid to retain her career and grow up like a normal teenager.
A source tells Star magazine, "After several weeks of personal soul searching and talks and discussions with her mom Jamie Lynn reluctantly agreed that giving up the baby is the right thing to do. Lynne says Jamie doesn't understand the life-long consequences of having a baby.
"She still wants her daughter to be able to be a teenager, go to parties, hang out with friends and have a career. So she'll take the front seat of caring for the baby and take the pressure off her daughter.
"Lynne is convinced that having a baby on her hip will not help Jamie Lynn's future in the business and she's expecting her daughter to pick up where she left off as soon as the baby is born."

HEATH Ledger's ex-fiancee Michelle Williams returned to her home in New York with the couple's child this morning.
Williams, who has rushed to New York from Sweden where she was filming, was driven home to Brooklyn in a large black SUV with two-year-old Matilda on her lap.
The SUV pulled up outside an open garage.
Williams, who was wearing dark clothing, got out of the passenger seat with Matilda and went straight into the garage without stopping to talk to the media.
Inside the house was Williams's mother Carla and Matilda's godmother, former Dawson's Creek actress Busy Phillips.
Williams, 27, who fell in love with Heath Ledger while filming Brokeback Mountain, split from him last year.
Williams was in Trollhattan, Sweden, wh ere the 27-year-old actress had been shooting scenes for the upcoming film Mammoth, said Martin Stromberg, a spokesman for film production company Memfis Film.
"She received the news at her hotel late last night," Stromberg said.
