Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am has released a monochromatic, multi-lingual, star-studded music video titled We Are The Ones – aimed at boosting the presidential homes of Democratic candidate Barack Obama.
Backed by the pulsating vocal refrain of “O-BA-MA! O-BA-MA!,” stars such as Jessica Alba, Ryan Phillippe, Kerry Washington, George Lopez and others face the camera and offer reasons why they support Obama as the candidate’s voice is also heard, as is that of Macy Gray and others, who croon his name.
“I would like to see a cleaner Earth for my child that I’m bringing into the world very soon,” says Alba in the three-minute video, which debuted Friday. Chimes in Philippe: “I think it’s time for a change. I want a better a future for my children.”
Previously, will.i.am produced the viral sensation Yes We Can, which generated more than 5 million YouTube hits alone, reports the Associated Press.
That one spotlighted Obama’s voice from a New Hampshire speech and provided celebrity support from Scarlett Johansson, John Legend, Kate Walsh, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Herbie Hancock and others.

She says, "I think a lot of the Hollywood girls, I won't get into names, are obsessed with the paparazzi. They call them or go to the Ivy (restaurant) so they'll be seen and followed for the rest of the day.

The lucky winner will accompany the star to the premiere of her forthcoming movie He’s Just Not That Into You in Los Angeles in June next year (09).
Johansson is offering the date on auction website eBay from Monday (03Mar08) with all the proceeds going to charity Oxfam.
Other stars to take part in the scheme include Colin Firth who has offered up a date to the premiere of his new film Mama Mia! in July (08).
Bidding has reached more than $8,000 with the auction set to close on Sunday (03Mar08).

Despite reports she’s dating R&B star Chris Brown, Rihanna insists she’s single.
The ‘Umbrella’ star - who reportedly introduced Brown to her parents on a visit to her native Barbados to celebrate winning her first Grammy last month, said: “I’m single. If a good guy comes along we’ll make it work, but for now I’m having fun being a single woman.”
But what the star is looking for in man is simple, she wants: “Someone who makes me happy, makes me laugh, and keeps me in good spirits,” she said.
Only two weeks ago, after Brown, 18, was spotted getting close to Rihanna at a Grammy’s after-party, he insisted they were just friends. “We’re just friends… We hang out,” he said.
But two days later they were spotted walking hand-in-hand into a private room at L.A. hot spot Les Deux to celebrate Rihanna’s 20th birthday party.
The singer, 20, also revealed that the favorite part of her body is her bum, saying: “I keep working at it as I want it to be perfect. It makes my clothes look good – and guys like it!”
Rihanna, whose full name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, is headlining at The O2 Arena, London, on March 7. Her third album, Good Girl Gone Bad, is out now.

Britney Spears has dumped her photographer lover after finding racy text messages from other women on his phone.
The 26-year-old singer became convinced Adnan Ghalib had cheated on her when she discovered the series of raunchy texts and threw the snapper's $600 iPhone into her pool at her Hollywood Hills home before ordering him to leave.
A source said: "There were about a dozen text messages from one girl, all sent on one day. They were pretty saucy stuff with sexual references - certainly not the sort you'd send to just a friend.
"Britney lost it and started yelling. She was demanding to know who sent the texts and shouting, 'What's this about? You're cheating on me.' "
Britney decided to confront Adnan after two video clips showing him out with two women, one of which he was seen briefly holding hands with, were posted on the internet.
The source added to Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Adnan said the girl was just a friend but Britney got more and more angry. Then she told him, 'That's it. It's over.'
"Just before she told Adnan to go, she took the phone and threw it in the pool. He didn't bother trying to get it out."

Berry’s the latest in a long line of celebs to ink fragrance deals, including Jennifer Lopez, Sarah Jessica Parker and Gwen Stefani.
Said Steve Mormoris, senior vice president of global marketing at Coty, “Halle is an iconic actress and symbolizes beauty to many generations.”
Expect to see her scent in major department stores in spring 2009.
