For ditzy, she's doing well since she notes: "I have three personal assistants just to keep up with my schedule."
The hip-hop and R&B superstar's newest single "Touch My Body" - the lead track on her latest album, "E=MC2" - is poised to be her 18th No. 1 single, tying with the Beatles for having the most chart-toppers.
Carey, the best-selling female singer of all time, showed off her new hit and slimmed-down figure on NBC's "Saturday Night Live" this weekend, sporting stilettos and a micro-miniskirt.
The once-married superstar, who has been romantically linked to Yankees captain Derek Jeter and rapper Eminem, said fans would be mistaken if they think she has loose morals. She insists she's never had a one-night stand.
"I'm Mary Poppins: I'm what the buttoned-up girls are supposed to be," Carey told Allure.

Jane just finished directing the honeymoon thriller, “The Dark Country,” and is also top lining the Pras Michel-produced “The Mutant Chronicles” alongside thespian John Malkovich.
“The Mist” actor posted bail this morning and was charged with a DUI, operating a vehicle on a suspended license and driving with a blood alcohol level above the 0.08 percent legal limit. All of which are misdemeanor charges.
The actor is married to actress Patricia Arquette. Officers with Kern County Sheriff’s Department say, “Jane showed cooperation when being taken to jail and has been released.” This was the actor’s first DUI arrest. His arraignment is set for April 9.

The 18-year-old actor has become so addicted to nicotine he has been nicknamed 'Harry Puffer' by his co-stars.
A source said: "Daniel has been smoking up to 20 cigarettes a day. Every time they call 'cut', he lights up. It's disgusting.
"Friends, including co-stars Rupert Grint and Emma Watson, have been warning him about the dangers of smoking. But he doesn't take any notice."
Daniel reportedly got through a whole pack of cigarettes when he had to film a difficult stunt last week.
The insider added to Britain's The Sun newspaper: "He was really nervous about the scene and was sparking up constantly."
Movie bosses are said to be worried Daniel's habit could tarnish his schoolboy image and have reportedly told him not to smoke in public.
However, their warnings have fallen on deaf ears and Daniel is still said to be "smoking like a trooper" on nights out.
The source said: "He's been having late nights out with stars including Kevin Spacey and Stephen Fry and been puffing up a storm."

Animated movie Dr Seuss' Horton Hears A Who! has topped the North American box office chart with $45.1m, the best film opening so far this year.
Production company 20th Century Fox said the film, which features actor Jim Carrey's voice for the title character, said it had exceeded expectations.
Last weekend's number one, 10,000 BC, slipped into second place, with Never Back Down debuting in third place.
College Road Trip was at four, and Vantage Point rounded off the top five.
British film The Bank Job, starring Jason Statham, landed at sixth place, with action thriller Doomsday at number seven.
It was the only other new release in the top 10 after taking $4.7m.
Will Ferrell's Semi-Pro was at eight, with The Other Boleyn Girl in ninth postion followed by The Spiderwick Chronicles.

Pop queen Madonna has dismissed reports that her marriage is on the rocks.
It has been suggested that the 49-year-old singer and her film director husband, Guy Ritchie, 39, are to split.
The pair, who have not been photographed together for weeks, were said to be leading separate lives.
Madonna was reportedly planning to take the couple's children to the US, while Ritchie would stay in London.
But Liz Rosenberg, Madonna's US spokeswoman, said: "I am delighted to confirm that Mr and Mrs Guy Ritchie remain happily married.
"Though they were in different countries recently - Madonna in the US doing promotion for her upcoming album Hard Candy and Guy finishing up post-production on his new film RocknRolla as well as completing a Nike commercial and working on several scripts in England - the family are joyfully back together at home in London.
"All is well and wonderful in the Ritchie household."
Rumours of trouble in the marriage intensified when Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels director Ritchie failed to appear at Madonna's induction into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame in the US last week.
It was also reported that Ritchie furnished a wing of the couple's Marylebone townhouse for his private use.
