According to the New York Post, the posh penthouse was purchased by one of Oprah's companies, Sofie's Penthouse LLC, named after her beloved pooch, Sofie, who just passed away. The penthouse has 3 bedrooms, 3 ? baths, a large living room/dining room area, along with a 768-square foot wraparound terrace.
Oprah has long been denying the rumors in Hollywood that she and Gayle are more than just best friends, with Oprah promising the press that she would give up the gritty details if there was anything else going on between the two.

Ashley Tisdale has not had another nose job, and she wants the world to know it.
The “High School Musical” star told People that the rumors floating around that her nose has been tinkered with are totally untrue.
“People are saying I had another nose job and I did not. That’s ridiculous,” Tisdale told the magazine. “I was away in New Zealand filming a movie (‘They Came From Upstairs’) and so people think I went away to have more work done. But I didn’t.”
Tisdale, who plays snobby Sharpay Evans on the popular Disney channel film series, is steaming mad at magazines that have suggested she went under the knife again.
“(Tabloids) have doctors talk about what they think I did with my surgery, but they did not examine me,” Tisdale said. “They don’t know what I have inside my nose.”
As previously reported, Tisdale had a nose job last fall. She claimed it was to fix a deviated septum.

Britney Spears has been handed a Lifetime Achievement award - for bad skin. The acne-prone pop star has been dishonoured with a Skinnies gong, presented annually by skincare expert Dr. Vail Reese on his Skinema.com website. Dr. Reese suggests Spears should seek advice from fellow star Will Smith, who has been given this year's (08) Action-packed Acne Survivor for the clear skin he sported in blockbuster I Am Legend. Dr. Reese has praised Smith for beating his adult acne, stating, "Will Smith appears to have found an effective treatment for his condition... he is this year's acne survivor.

After getting in some sunbathing, Hudson (accompanied by Ryder on one bike) and Wilson (with another young boy) rode through the busy streets of South Beach on Saturday before stopping for Starbucks on the less-crazy Biscayne Bay side of town. Mother and son even wandered into a drug store and a video store, where they picked up a new movie.

Pals say that Lindsay made a series of abusive phone calls to George Best's lothario son after a porn-style photo, said to be of the two of them, was posted on the Internet.
The blurry clip is thought to have been filmed on Calum’s phone when they were an item last year and then forwarded on to one of his friends.
A source, who overheard the rant, said Lindsay was screaming: “I can't believe you would ever f***ing do this to me, I should have listened to everyone.
“I should never have f***ing trusted you."
Lindsay screeched down the blower for so long that she had to leave another voicemail to finish her abusive tirade.
The Mean Girl continued: "It's everywhere now, all over the net, everyone's seen it, how f***ing could you?"
