Teen star Jamie Lynn Spears' mother has let it slip that the pregnant actress is expecting a baby girl.
The 17-year-old star stunned the world when she confirmed she was expecting her first child in December, and now her mom, Lynne, has been overheard telling friends the baby will be her first granddaughter.
A source tells Life and Style magazine, "I heard Lynne talking about Jamie Lynn's baby. She said Jamie Lynn and the baby's dad (Casey Aldridge) were so excited when they found out it's a girl."
The proud mom, who is grandmother to eldest daughter Britney Spears' two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, also gave up Jamie Lynn's nursery secrets.
The witness adds, "She is going to do the nursery in white, black and yellow."
The baby is reportedly due on June 29.

Hilary Duff dropped a scorpion down her trousers in her new movie.
The actress had the "scary" encounter with the arachnid while shooting 'War, Inc' after deciding not to use a fake one.
She is quoted as saying: "We did it about four times. They were like, 'We have a fake one here but it looks terrible.' And I was like, 'I've done this for the movie, and this and this and this' - I can't back out now. I've got to go for it. All the guys on set were telling me that they would never do this.
"I had a pair of pants on that was a little bigger than my normal size so I could get some space between my body and the pants and try and drop it in.
"A couple of times it went all the way down to the floor, you know, and then sometimes it got stuck and I had to shake it out which was really scary."
Director Josh Seftel admitted he was "terrified" by the scorpion and praised the 20-year-old 'Lizzie Maguire' star for her bravery.
He said: "It was so brave and bold and smart of her to do that. I loved that she embraced it."

KylieX2008 - described as "her greatest ever tour" - will start in Paris on May 6.
KylieX2008 is the star's first major world tour since her battle with breast cancer. The £10 million show will see her performing in Greece, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Luxembourg, Russia, Latvia and Spain, and has already taken over half a million in sales.
The tour begins on 6 May in Paris, and moves to the UK in June at the Belfast Odyssey Arena before moving to Glasgow, Newcastle and Manchester ending at the O2 Arena in London.
Meanwhile, Kylie is said to have abandoned plans to crack America after her latest attempt failed.
She reportedly told a friend: 'I gave it my best shot. I won't try again.'
Kylie hit the US promotional trail hard, and appeared on numerous US shows to promote her album X, including The Today Show, Dancing With The Stars, The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Late Late Show.

A source told US tabloid National Enquirer that the owner of the tape which shows a younger Jolie taking drugs with friends, is selling the footage for $74,000. "It appears to be from the 1990s, right before Angelina — then in her 20s — was breaking out in films like Gia and Girl, Interrupted, which won her an Oscar," the source said.
"She (Jolie) says, wow, this is really good smack — not that cheap crap that's been stepped on."
Jolie is reportedly shown "sniffing white lines from a plate", and sucking smoke through a tube.
The mother of four has been open about her drug abuse past saying she was not "immune" to drugs but would never use it now.
"I've done coke, heroin, ecstasy, LSD everything. I hate heroin because I've been fascinated with it," she said.

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian is to make the transition to the big screen after landing her first movie role.
The 27-year-old - who stars in her family's reality TV show Keeping Up With the Kardashians - is now set to carve out a career as an actress after signing on to a new comedy film.
The picture is rumoured to be a spoof in the same vein as the Scary Movie franchise.
And Kardashian is delighted by her new challenge.
She tells E! News, "I have accepted a part in a major studio film. It's a comedy. It's starting the first week in May and it's filming in Louisiana. I can't wait."
