Looks like Tony Romo fell for that wedding invite from Papa Joe Simpson.
According to People, Jessica Simpson and Romo were together Friday night snagging some sushi, and he was at her side during the wedding rehearsal dinner at Jessica's Beverly Hills home. At her sister Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz's shotgun Saturday wedding and reception, Romo continued to keep up the act.
"They were kissing and holding hands thoughout the night," says a source. "He was very sweet to her. They were very much a couple."

In a radio interview Tuesday morning (May 20) for "On Air With Ryan Seacrest," the Fall Out Boy bassist broke his silence about his marriage this past weekend to Ashlee Simpson, telling the "American Idol" host that the couple has decided to forego a traditional honeymoon for a more intimate, less expensive post-nuptials retreat — in the basement of the couple's Los Angeles home.
"We got some blow-up palm trees," Wentz told Seacrest. "A little fake-n-bake tanning booth. We're eating DiGiorno's pizza, getting in that tanning oven every once in a while — it's great. It's gonna look like we're on that private jet. We're gonna save that $30,000, you know?"
Wentz, who disclosed that the couple has a prenuptial agreement in place, also said he's not sure if the new Mrs. Wentz will take his name. "She legally is a Wentz. ... I don't know what she'll do with her stage name — that's up to her," he said. "She hasn't decided that."
And how's married life treating Wentz? "I feel great," he said, before paraphrasing a line from the Kids in the Hall movie "Brain Candy." "It is sunny and 65 in my head."
According to Wentz, last weekend's wedding wasn't a rushed affair, as has been reported. (Several magazines have speculated that the ceremony had to take place soon, before Simpson, who is reportedly pregnant, begins showing.) "It's been something we've been planning for a long time," the rocker said. "I gave her a promise ring four months ago."
Next, Seacrest asked the obvious question: Is the couple mulling baby names yet? Wentz didn't buckle, staying true to the story he's been telling ever since the pregnancy rumors first surfaced.
"Ryan, this baby has not been confirmed," he insisted. "The only thing I'm confirming now is that we're in the basement on our honeymoon with these blow-up palm trees." He also evaded queries about his sister-in-law, Jessica Simpson, and her on-again, off-again beau Tony Romo.
"I don't know anything about what's going on with them," he said. "I'm so busy clearing up my own rumors."

The Fantastic Four star, Jessica Alba quietly tied the knot with her longtime beau, Cash Warren, on Monday, reps have confirmed to OK! Magazine.
The couple is expecting their first child, a daughter, together next month.
This is the first marriage for both. Jessica was previously engaged to her Dark Angel co-star Michael Weatherly from 2001-03.
The 27-year-old actress met Cash, 31, a producer, on the set of the first Fantastic Four flick in 2004. After a temporary split last summer, the two reconciled and announced their pregnancy in December and their engagement shortly thereafter.
"Being pregnant is kind of like a sedative,” Jessica has said. “Everything's just chill. I don't get as anxious about things. Like right now, a movie coming out, you know, over analyzing everything. And now I'm just kind of like [shrugs]. I got something else going on."

Pop singer Janet Jackson said on Monday she will hit the road for the first time in seven years with the Canadian launch in September of her "Rock Witchu" arena tour through North America.
Jackson, 42, revealed plans for her upcoming concert series during an appearance on the television talk show hosted by Ellen DeGeneres, saying, "I can't wait."
The U.S.-Canadian outing will open September 7 in Vancouver, British Columbia, with subsequent dates scheduled for New York and Washington, D.C., according to a spokesman for concert promoter Live Nation, which is organizing the tour.

A new Britney Spears sex tape is set to be released.
The footage allegedly features Britney, 26, stripping off naked apart from a pink wig, and romping with ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib.
The paparazzi photographer is reportedly trying to sell the full two-hour version, which is said to contain twenty minutes of full sex after a long session of foreplay, to the highest bidder.
A source said: "The video starts with Britney undressing. She was wearing some cheap clothes. The sex wasn't particularly kinky but Britney wears a pink wig throughout.
"At one point in the tape Adnan asks Britney to remove the pink wig but she refuses, saying 'Take what off? There's nothing left to take off.' "
Adnan had a three-month relationship with the mother-of-two at the height of her alleged nervous breakdown earlier this year.
The sex tape was supposedly shot while the couple holidayed in Mexico in January.

Monica Bellucci premiered her latest movie, Sangue pazzo, on Monday evening at the Cannes Film Festival.
She was joined on the red carpet by guests Natalie Portman, Jackie Chan and Kristin Scott Thomas.
Speaking to AP Entertainment, Bellucci said being on the red carpet was "a big emotion, with all the photographs and everybody crying and screaming."
Directed by Marc Tullio Giordana, Sangue pazzo is based on a true story.
Set in 1940's war torn Italy, Bellucci stars as the ill-fated movie star Luisa Ferida and Luca Zingaretti plays Osvaldo Valenti her infamous lover.
Their bodies were found on the outskirts of Milan April 30th 1945 five days after Italy's Liberation - they were executed by partisans.
Drug addicts with a tendancy towards sexual promiscuity, it was claimed that their private lives were as wild as their on screen personas.
Monica Bellucci said that Luisa shared more of the story with AP Entertainment.
"She (Luisa) was accused of dancing nude and naked in front of prisoners. He was accused of being a fascist though he was actually more of a rebel, a non-conformist," she said.
"The reality was that he was addicted to cocaine and she was addicted to him so it's a really strong and passionate story that has as a background a really important moment in Italian history," she added.
Sangue Pazzu is released in Italy on 23 May, and in France on 9 July and the Netherlands on 16 October.
