Madonna's brother Christopher Ciccone is to release a tell-all memoir about the star.
The TV chef will release Life With My Sister Madonna in mid-July.
Publisher Simon & Schuster said: "Ciccone's extraordinary memoir is based on his life and 47 years of growing up with and working with his sister - the most famous woman in the world."
However, the singer is rumoured to be so upset about the possible revelations in the book that she has contacted lawyers in London to discuss her legal options.
A source told E! blogger Marc Malkin: "When she was meeting with lawyers and everyone was saying it was because she wanted to divorce Guy, she was really meeting with them to get the book killed."
Madonna's spokeswoman Liz Rosenberg denied that any meetings have taken place.

Contradicting reports, Mariah Carey’s rep says the singer didn’t get injured on the set of her new music video, “I’ll Be Lovin’U Long Time.”

Carey was originally scheduled to do the video shoot in Los Angeles, but decided to move it to Hawaii.
An insider said, “She was so excited to be shooting in Hawaii. She wanted all her friends to come down and be a part of the shoot.”
Carey and her new hubby, Nick Cannon, landed in Hawaii following the singer’s promotional tour in Japan, where she threw out the first pitch at a baseball game in Tokyo.
She’s been busy promoting her new album, E=MC2, featuring the hits “Touch My Body” and “Bye Bye.”

"She did visit Obama's office, but the senator was not there. She did not meet him, but did discuss health care with members of his staff."

"That's definitely where we are heading," the reality star told Usmagazine.com at a Celebrity Family Feud taping in L.A. Saturday when asked about marriage.
"That's something that we do talk about," she said. "I think that when you spend so much time with someone who is such a big part of your life, that's definitely the future."
Kim Kardashian, 27, said her relationship with the 23-year-old New Orleans Saints running back is "really serious" and "the best."
