Mario Lopez knows how to strike a pose. And a pose is exactly what he strikes in the latest issue of People magazine, where he is named Hottest Bachelor.
Lopez, who recently split from "Dancing With the Stars" girlfriend Karina Smirnoff, recreates the "Marky Mark" pose made famous by Mark Wahlberg. Suffice it to say the photo only shows Lopez and his Calvins.
As an exercise guru, Lopez recently penned his own workout book called "Mario Lopez's Knockout Fitness." That doesn't mean the star has always had washboard abs.
The former "Dancing With the Stars" contestant said he was a very chubby baby, and in fact looked like a sumo wrestler.
As a hot bachelor in People, the magazine asked Lopez what he looked for in a girl. "I like a girl who's from a modest sort of upbringing, because it's more relatable," he said "I'm a first-generation American. My parents [Elvia and Mario Sr.] emigrated from Mexico and live in the same house I grew up in Chula Vista, Calif. I'd feel weird if the girl was a little too uppity or affluent, because I'm a very down-home kind of guy."

The host of the US TV talk show 'The View', Barbara Walters, has been quizzing actress Kate Hudson and cycling champion Lance Armstrong about their rumoured romance.
According to Fox News, when Walters asked Hudson, 29, if they were dating, the actress burst into laughter and said: "I think somebody told me he was going to be on the show next week.
"You should ask him..."
Yesterday Armstrong, 36, appeared on the show and when he was asked he smiled and said: "Number one, I know you have to ask that question. And it's my right not to answer it.
"Number two, I think when you're happy about something or proud about something, I think it's natural in human nature to talk about it.
"But I'm not going to answer it. Next question!"
Armstrong and Hudson have been romantically linked since they were spotted kissing at the Cannes Film Festival in May.
People Magazine also reported that they had been seen dining and spending time together in Austin, Texas.

Thalia started to give birth to her new album while she was eight months' pregnant with her daughter.
"I had had it," the singer told The Associated Press before a party Tuesday at a Manhattan nightclub to unveil her new work. "And the only thing I could think about were bikinis, suntan lotion, beer and the beach.
"So I began to think to myself, `Hey! What was that song I liked last summer in Argentina? "Sangre Caliente" ("Hot blood")!' And when I went with my friends to (the Mexican beach resort of) Ixtapa, which one was it? That's right! The one by Juan Gabriel!' ... That's how `Lunada' was born."
"Lunada" features 11 cuts, most notably the single "Ten Paciencia," or "Have Patience." It includes both new songs such as "Bendita" ("Blessed") — which she composed for her now 8-month-old daughter Sabrina Sakae — and new versions of old classics: "Insensible" ("Insensitive") by Juan Gabriel and "Isla Para Dos" ("Island for Two") by Nano Cabrera. Co-produced by Emilio Estefan, it goes on sale next week.
"Blessed" came to her while she was in a car en route to the recording studio. "I started to feel in my heart the words and the melody that it had to have. I began to write it on a napkin — to write it and write it and write it — and I arrived at the studio and ... I began to sing it."
