"The babies are doing well. The operation went just perfectly," Dr. Michel Sussmann told PEOPLE Sunday. "Angelina is in very good spirits. Brad Pitt was at her side. He was there and all was well."
Sussmann confirmed the Nice-Matin newspaper report that Jolie gave birth to a boy, Knox Leon, and a girl, Vivienne Marcheline, by Cesarean section on Saturday night. Knox weighed 5.03 lbs, and Vivienne 5 lbs.
The twins are the fifth and sixth children for Jolie, 33, and partner Brad Pitt, 44, who are already parents to Maddox, 6; Pax, 4; Zahara, 3; and Shiloh, 2.
"The mother and father are very, very happy," Sussmann told PEOPLE.

Just when it seemed the scandal surrounding the semi-nude Miley Cyrus photos in Vanity Fair was dying down, new photos of the 15-year-old Hannah Montana star have surfaced on the Internet. The racy pics were allegedly stolen from Miley's email account by a hacker.
In one photo Miley, then 14, takes a shower in a wet t-shirt. A second photo shows Miley with her tummy exposed, blowing a kiss into her iPhone while taking a picture of herself. Her gray t-shirt is rolled up under her bra, showing off her midsection.

The Mayor of Nice, Christian Estrosi, presented one of the birth certificates yesterday on the steps of Fondation Lenval hospital, where sons Knox Leon and daughter Vivienne Marcheline were born this Saturday.
The certificate revealed that Knox was born 18:27 and according to People Vivienne arrived within a minute of that time. Estrosi told reporters "On behalf of the inhabitants of Nice, I congratulate the happy parents," and added "I also congratulate the four brothers and sisters of the newborns who are real 'Nicois' (citizens of Nice)".

Vanessa Hudgens has said she was more hurt by last year’s nude photo scandal than she let on at the time.
The High School Musical star told Good Morning America Radio this week: “I think people thought I took it lighter than I really did.
“For me, it was really tough because I’m a private person and for something like that to happen, it’s so mean.
“[It was] horrible … it sucked. But thankfully it’s over and it’s in the past.”
She added though that she was delighted by the support she received after “stupid people” leaked the photos: “My fans were amazing because they have stood by my side. They really are my core group.

Miley Cyrus took a much-needed break from her filming schedule yesterday to play in the ocean.
The singer/actress has been hard at work on her beach set in Malibu, California all week, so she jumped at the chance to play a little bit with a few friends when the cameras stopped rolling.
She wore a flirty yellow and orange retro-style swimsuit as she splashed in the waves with a few gal pals, making the most of the beautiful Malibu surroundings.
At one point, Miley hopped on a surfboard and paddled around before heading back into shore and hopping into a beach car to head back home.

Marc Anthony disclosed during a recent interview that his wife Jennifer Lopez is training to take part in a triathlon later this year.
The Latin singer, who was promoting his concert series supporting children’s fitness called ‘Juntos en Concierto’, told tv’s Extra that, “Jennifer is training for a triathalon in October.”

Naomi Campbell has insisted she’s not a bad person and that she does more good than bad for the world.
Speaking at the This Day Africa Rising gig in Nigeria recently, she told the Mirror recently that she ignores it when people only focus on the bad: “I’m not a bad person. When people say all these negative things about me, I ignore them.
“Let them be negative - but do that away from me. It hurts but I know there is much more good in the world.
“I’m blessed to be able to do charitable work and good things but no one focuses on that because I don’t throw it in people’s faces. That’s why they focus on the negatives.”
Last month Naomi was sentenced to 200 hours of community service following an air-rage incident at Heathrow Airport in April and she added that her fellow supermodel is always there for her during her difficult times - and vice versa: “I am so lucky to have friends like Kate, who are there for me whatever. Even if we are not on the same continent we support each other. That’s what best friends do.
