Mariah Carey has spoken to MTV News to deny rumours that her marriage to Nick Cannon is in crisis.
Some recent reports suggested that Mimi and Nick were having problems just a few months after their wedding.
But Carey told us: "It's good, Life is beautiful, and things are going well."
When asked what she thought of the rumours Mariah said: "I'm like, 'Why would we have gotten married to do that? People are going to say what they say, but what would be the purpose?
“I guess other people do those things for a purpose, but I don't know. I'm ecstatic, so be ecstatic with me! Be happy with me. Can we celebrate?"

New parents Jessica Alba and Cash Warren are banning their baby daughter from chasing fame - until she's at least 21.
The newlyweds are determined to make sure Honor, who was born in June, should finish her education before she pursues the life of a celebrity - if that is the life she chooses.
Alba says, "When she finishes college, she can do whatever she wants."
But the actress admits it could be tough convincing Honor to wait: "I think at some point all little kids express that desire, because they're so used to being treated like a star.

The day before her 39th birthday Thursday, she was spotted shopping at Bonpoint baby boutique in NYC while feeding her twin son Max. Her mother, Guadalupe, held baby girl Emme.
Born in the Bronx, Lopez has gone from workaholic to major mom since welcoming her twins in February.
"She's such an amazing mom, and I'm so proud of her," her husband Marc Anthony recently said on The Billy Bush Show. "She's such a gem to watch."
Lopez is so enthralled with motherhood, she hasn't hired a nanny!
"It's just us, man," Anthony told Bush. "We're figuring it out and having a great time.
"She expects me to help, and she makes no bones about it," Anthony added. "I get the late shift."
Despite having three movies in the works, Lopez — who just returned from an Italian vacation with her babies and husband — said she enjoyed taking a little time off.
As she told Harper's Bazaar last year, "My life has been so planned for so many years."

Miley Cyrus and her father Billy Ray Cyrus are soaring to new heights after naming two protected bald eaglets which have been released to the wilds of the stars' native Tennessee.
Officials at the American Eagle Foundation asked the celebrity bird lovers to name the 14-week old babies, which were born in an artificial nesting tower located on Douglas Lake in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains.
The Hannah Montana star used her birth middle name, Hope, for one of the birds of prey, while her father opted for Tennessee as the name for the other eaglet.
Miley Cyrus has since changed her name to Miley Ray Cyrus.
The birds were released into the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in Pigeon Forge on Wednesday (23Jul08). A group of Miley Cyrus fans were on hand to help set the eagles free.
