"Brad and Angie think the world of Bono," a source tells The Mirror.
"They have been friends for years. Brad is a massive U2 fan and told Bono how much he admired him when they were introduced at a party a few years back.
"Since then, they've become very close, which Brad is thrilled about.
"Angelina is inspired by Bono's humanitarian work and gets on with his wife Ali Hewson. Ali's given Angelina some clothes from her ethical clothing range Edun."

In her new interview for the mag, the 22-year-old reality TV vixen reveals that what you see on the tube is not necessarily the full story in real life.
"I know I look tortured, but it's a TV show and you don't see all sides of people," she explains. "'The Hills' is meant to be a dramatic show about relationships."
The Orange County native and budding clothing designer also talks about becoming more Hollywood savvy, now that she's in the spotlight; where to see and be seen -- and alternately how to dodge the paparazzi; and the pitfalls of dating when everyone knows who you are!
"I'm at a point in my life where I'd need to be with someone who could understand [that I have to put my career first right now] and is willing to be part of the show," she says, "But I don't want to end up with a person who'd want to be on the show."

We know Shannen went to the Sheriff's Department in Lost Hills (Malibu) to complain about paparazzi following her. The cops who talked to her were baffled ... because they had no idea who she was.
The deputy at the front desk confessed he had no idea who she was. Shannen retorted that she was on TV. The deputy, in a scene reminiscent of "Take the Money and Run," began asking others around him if they knew who she was, but none did.
We're told Shannen then left in a huff.

Avril Lavigne who is married to Sum 41 guitarist Deryck Whibley - is so worried about her pointy molars she is determined to have them corrected.
A source close to the singer told America’s Star magazine: "Avril hates her fangs. She is planning on having them filed down by a cosmetic dentist.
"It's just something she has always been insecure about, especially since everyone is staring at her mouth when she sings.
"As soon as Avril finds some time to take off so it won't interfere with her singing, she's getting it done."

The 55-year-old Dirty Dancing star looked fit and healthy Monday as he filmed The Beast, his first acting job since he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer earlier this year.
The self-proclaimed "miracle" looked tanned and smiling on the set of the A&E TV series.
"Patrick is an amazing person," his costar Larry Gilliard Jr. recently told PEOPLE. "He's so positive. I'm really looking forward to getting back to work with him."

If you see Eva Longoria on the street and she’s looking slightly less hot- don’t panic. It’s on purpose, and it’s all part of a new story arc for her character on “Desperate Housewives.”
Eva Longoria has recently been spotted sporting a much shorter ‘do, and while many thought it was just part of her cooler new summer look- not so. Turns out Longoria’s character is supposed to look much more weary next season, from raising children, and that her more practical haircut is meant to match her state of mind. Liza Anderson, Eva Longoria’s rep, told People magazine, “She’s making herself look like that as her character has let herself go. Gabrielle has gained weight and cut her hair. She’s a worn out mother with two kids.”
