She just lost a bunch of weight (I know, wasn’t she already super-skinny?), her new hair do may be her answer to balancing herself back out.
Other than that, her dress was great, her style choices were spot-on, but we just can’t figure out what was going through her - or her stylist’s - head when they decided on that look.

On how it felt to be hated by the tabloids:
“I was exploring who I was as a person and testing my own boundaries and trying to be a normal 18-, 19-, 20-year-old, and I got raked over the coals. Many nights I cried myself to sleep over that stuff.”
On the worst lie she ever read about herself:
“There’ve been so many. One of those bullshit rags [wrote that I’d entered AA]. They said that I was so, quote, ’scared of the drink’ that I was sleeping on my sponsor’s couch. Now, I’ve never been in AA. I accompanied my husband to AA meetings—actually, I forced him to go to one—but I’ve never actually gone for myself. Sometimes you can find some truth, a little nugget somewhere, but not one thing about this was true … But people sell their stories and make their 500 bucks at your expense, and it’s like, ‘Wow. Really?’”
The new issue of Radar, where Shannen talks germophobia, her shoe-ophilia, her Christian leanings, and her maybe-wavering Republicanism, hits stands October 7.

Lindsay Lohan seems to have admitted she is dating DJ Samantha Ronson in a US radio interview.
The pair are photographed together on a regular basis, sparking a war of words between the Mean Girls actress and her father Michael, who has criticised Ronson's fashion sense and hygiene, as well as claiming she is exploiting his daughter.
Yet Lohan's publicist has previously denied that her client and Ronson are a couple, despite press speculation that they plan to get married and adopt a child, as well as their frequent mentions of the other in interviews and blog postings.
However, while being interviewed on US radio show Lovelines, Lohan, 22, looked to have confirmed her relationship with Ronson.
"You and Samantha, have been going out for how long now?" DJ Ted Stryker asked.
"Like two years, one year, five months, two months?"
Lohan laughed and replied: "For a very long time"

According to documents detailing a September 12, 2008 custody hearing, her ex-husband Phil Bronstein "shall have permanent sole physical custody of child. Court finds that respondent [Sharon Stone] failed to meet her burden of proof and denies respondent's [Sharon Stone's] request for modification of custody."
According to the minute order, Bronstein is able to "provide a more structured continuity, stable, secure and consistent home that…Roan needs."
The judge notes the order is permanent unless Stone moves closer to Bronstein in San Francisco.

'American Idol' runner-up Clay Aiken has confirmed that he is gay in a magazine interview.
The Associated Press reports that the cover of the latest issue of People magazine in the US features Aiken with his infant son and the headline "Yes, I'm Gay".
The cover also features the quote: "I cannot raise a child to lie or hide things."
The mother of Aiken's son is his friend and record producer Jaymes Foster.

Celebrating the release of their new album “Doll Domination,” Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt, Melody Thronton, Ashley Roberts, and Jessica Sutta took over the Virgin Megastore at Hollywood and Highland Center, bringing their own flavor of sexy dance moves and infectious melodies.
Described in the real estate listing as an "exquisite gated Italian Renaissance-inspired villa," the 7,500-square-foot home has three garages and a "grand entrance foyer."
The pop star, 26, has lived in the hilltop home for less than two years – and had to leave the house twice early this year to be forcibly hospitalized.
Spears's father Jamie, who remains in legal control of his daughter until Dec. 31, sought permission from a court in June to sell the home.
"Having more privacy and wide open spaces for her to raise her boys has been a goal for some time," a source close to Spears previously told PEOPLE.
The singer is rumored to be eyeing a new home an hour drive north of Los Angeles in Calabasas, Calif.
