Oprah Winfrey has denied reports that Mariah Carey cancelled an appearance on her chat show where she was due to announce her alleged pregnancy.
According to reports Mimi was booked for an appearance on the show to reveal that she is expecting her first child with husband Nick Cannon.
The pair wed in April after a whirlwind romance and rumours have since been rife that the Hero singer is expecting.
However, a representative from Oprah’s production company has stated that there are no plans to have Carey or Cannon on the show any time in the near future.
A spokesperson for Mariah has also denied that the star is pregnant.

Beyonce Knowles showed off her bootylicious figure in a orange coloured bikini and sarong as she hit the beach accompanied by five bodyguards.
Beyonce was in Miami after being inducted into the Miami Children's Hospital Foundation's Hall of Fame as a reward for her generous work.
She was guest of honour at the glitzy gala to raise money for the foundation on Saturday night.

Jessica Alba has teamed up with "Heroes" star Hayden Panettiere for a spoof video urging young people in the U.S. to vote at the upcoming presidential election.
Alba has been a longtime supporter of the Declare Yourself campaign, and has made two controversial ads for the organization in a bid to encourage Americans to take to the polls in November.
The latest ad featured Alba wearing a Hannibal Lecter-style muzzle.
And now the Hollywood actress has enlisted the help of 19-year-old Panettiere for a satirical clip that has been posted on YouTube.
The two stars are seen hosting a mock home-shopping show selling The Muzzler 2008, a similar device to that worn by Alba in the last campaign.
Panettiere is seen modeling a pink version, spelling out to youngsters the need not to let their political voices be silenced.
Marc Morgenstern, executive director of Declare Yourself, tells People.com, "Jessica and Hayden have an amazing ability to connect with young adults. Behind all the humor of the PSA lies a very serious message of what it actually means to sit out the election and effectively silence oneself."

She added "We are a little bit [sleep deprived]. We have some help a couple of nights a week, so on those nights we catch up on our sleep."

Swiss timekeepers Raymond Weil had claimed Theron reneged on an endorsement contract specifying that she wear their watches - and only their watches - 24/7. The "Monster" star tried to fight the claims back in February, but this week a judge ruled that the proceedings must indeed go to trial. At stake? The "substantial funds" that Raymond Weil wants back, estimated by lawyers to be $20 million.

Victoria Beckham is trying to persuade pal Katie Holmes to join her in the lucrative celebrity fragrance market with her very own scent.
The former Spice Girl and her husband, soccer star David Beckham, recently launched their new his-and-her fragrance line, Signature.
And Victoria hopes Tom Cruise's wife will follow suit.
