The tanned star released his memoir "Don't Mind If I Do" on Tuesday which includes the revelation that he slept with the wife of his father, bandleader George "Spike" Hamilton.
"It actually went on for a short period of time when I was 12 and then strangely enough when I was of age, and I was an actor in Hollywood, I met her again and she was as beautiful as ever and we had a sort of followup," Hamilton said.
The star of "The Godfather Part III" and "Zorro, The Gay Blade" said that his stepmother was about 28 or 30 at the time of the first sexual encounter.
"My father never knew about it, and it was a very strange thing. But it was very normal, in a strange — she didn't make me feel bad about it," Hamilton said on the program. "It wasn't dirty."
Hamilton said that his stepmother called it "cuddling" and he didn't feel abnormal about it.
"I was molested?" he said. "Damn, I'm down for it again."

The party for family and friends took place at her parents home in Encino, California on Friday night and one party guest told People magazine that the singer didn’t let her pregnancy get in the way of dressing up: “Ashlee loves themed parties and costumes.
“Ashlee wore Daisy Dukes and platform flip-flops with a bathing suit and a fake tattoo around her belly.
“[Her sister Jessica Simpson] was wearing a crazy leopard-print dress that showed off a lot of cleavage [and their dad] Joe wore a cut-off muscle T-shirt and a mullet wig. It was funny.”
The theme also extended to the food served at the event: corn dogs, macaroni & cheese, chicken fingers and French fries.

Angelina Jolie has accidentally admitted that she and partner Brad Pitt fell in love while the Hollywood hunk was still with his ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston.
But in a "jet-lagged" interview with the New York Times, Angelina Jolie said she and Pitt fell in love on the set of Mr & Mrs Smith in 2004 - long before Pitt's break-up and divorce with then-wife Aniston.
The revelation came during discussions about how Jolie couldn't wait for her and Pitt's six children - three adopted, three naturally conceived - to see the film in which their parents fell in love.
She said: "It will be great when they can watch Mr and Mrs Smith, because not a lot of people get to see a movie where their parents fell in love."
"What's going to be funny is when they think mum and dad are a little bit cool. Because right now, we're not cool mum and dad."
