Country star Carrie Underwood has laughed off reports that she is in a feud with Jessica Simpson, insisting she has nothing against the singer/actress for dating her ex Tony Romo.
The two stars were alleged to have fallen out after Underwood insinuated she was still in touch with Romo, two years after their split.
In a recent interview with Allure magazine, Underwood said Romo was equally keen to keep in contact, adding: "The phone will ring and it'll be him, and I'll maybe not answer."
Simpson, who has been dating Romo since late last year, subsequently hit back at Underwood's comments, claiming her boyfriend has never called his ex.
But Underwood is shrugging off reports that the two are embroiled in a war of words.
She says, "I met her once and she seemed really nice so I don't have a feud with anybody."

Hollywood hottie Eva Mendes, who previously admitted that maintaining her slim figure isn't easy, does exercises to keep her body in shape. But the actress confessed she hates going to gyms because she finds them "ugly and noisy".
Eva revealed she regularly works out once a week. "I work out once a week doing light weights but on the whole I find gyms so grey and so ugly - I don't want to listen to bad techno music on a treadmill," the "Ghost Rider" starlet said.
Thus, the 34-year-old beauty prefers to enjoy the outdoors while exercising. The actress added, "I prefer to go running near my house in Los Angeles with my dog or my neighbour, which I do around five times a week. And I go uphill too, which is hard!"
But Eva revealed she never watches what she eats. "In the car on the way here I had six chocolate chip cookies! But that means extra time working out later. I'll say to myself, 'I can eat this pizza right now, but I will have to add an extra 30 minutes to my exercise today'. Sometimes it's worth it, sometimes it's not," she told Britain's Glamour magazine.
Jennifer Hudson is offering a $100,000 cash reward for information leading to the safe return of her seven year old nephew, who has been missing since Friday (24Oct08).
The Dreamgirls Oscar-winner issued the appeal after the double shooting of her mother Darnell Donnerson and her brother Jason Hudson at their home in Chicago, Illinois on Friday.
Seven year old Julian King, the son of Hudson's sister Julia, was staying with his grandmother when the murders took place, and he has not been seen since.
Julia's estranged husband William Balfour was arrested by police later that day and is currently being quizzed by cops over the slayings.
Authorities have issued an Amber Alert in the search of the missing boy, meaning police have launched a statewide campaign to find the child.
But Hudson, who spent the weekend (25-26Oct08) identifying the bodies of her loved ones, has stepped up the search for her nephew by offering the money and urging anyone with any knowledge of his whereabouts to come forward.
A statement from Hudson's representative Lisa Kasteler says, "Jennifer and her family appreciate the enormous amount of love, support and prayers they have received while she and her family try to cope with this tragedy and continue the search for Julian.
"We ask that all inquiries be directed to the Chicago Police Department, Area 1 Detective Division at 312/747-8380."
The FBI have been called in to assist with the search for Julian.
Ross Rice, special agent and spokesman for the FBI's Chicago-branch says, "I can confirm that we have been asked to provide assistance to the Chicago police department to assist in the search for seven-year-old Julian King."
Hudson has also reached out to her fans online, thanking them for their support and asking them to join the search for her nephew by posting a photo of him on her MySpace.com page.

Spending her actual 28th birthday on October 21 at an Alabama medical center to accompany her boyfriend Reggie Bush, who was hospitalized due to an injured knee, Kim Kardashian gets her actual birthday bash after all by hosting a party at LAX nightclub inside Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. For the party, held on Friday, October 24, she was joined by Reggie, and sisters Kourtney and Khloe. Choreographer and music video director, Robin Antin, reportedly was also in attendance.
Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Robin and some friends initially gathered in Kim's hotel room at the Luxor on Friday night for a party. They were all having fun when Reggie rang the doorbell, just half an hour before the group was to head down to the nightclub LAX, to surprise Kim. It is claimed that the NFL player has been given the green light to fly to Vegas at the last minute. "He is doing better than expected and returning to the field soon," a source told E! Online.
Of Reggie's surprise appearance on her birthday, Kim said, "We had the best time! It was a birthday I will never forget. He wins the best boyfriend award!"
Right on her 28th birthday last Tuesday, Kim posted a message on her official site, informing she was at an Alabama medical center to be at Reggie's side as he was recovering from surgery due to an injured left knee which he suffered during a game against the Carolina Panthers on October 19.
"Hey guys! Today is my birthday! I am 28 years old! I was supposed to be in London right now with Reggie but we had to cancel our trip. In the game against the Carolina Panthers, Reggie injured his left knee and needed surgery," so she wrote. "He's pretty bummed that the special birthday he planned in London couldn't happen, but as long as he is okay, I will have the best birthday ever!!!!"
