While 'Closer' beauty Natalie Portman is rumored to be the front runner of the female lead in 'Thor', Marvel allegedly are leaning towards casting an unknown blonde for the title role.
Although positioning the 27-year-old as the potential leading lady, Finke didn't go further on hinting which character Portman will be portraying. The Golden Globe-winning actress could be taking the part of Thor's Asgard love-interest and antagonist, Amora the Enchantress, Thor's wife who is also a Goddess in Asgard, Sif, or even Donald Blake's love interest, Jane Foster.
Adaptation of the comicbook franchise that launched in 1962, "Thor" will be set in modern time, following the story of disabled medical student Donald Blake, whose alter ego is a hammer-wielding Norse god Thor. This Kenneth Branagh-directed superhero film, which script is provided by screenwriter Mark Protosevich, has been once pushed forward from June 17, 2011 U.S. release to May 20, 2011.

Actor Jamie Kennedy has confirmed he's dating his "Ghost Whisperer" co-star Jennifer Love Hewitt, three months after she called off her engagement.
The couple prompted reports its on-set friendship had blossomed into a romance behind the scenes when Kennedy joined Hewitt to celebrate her 30th birthday last month.
Kennedy confirmed the news on Los Angeles DJ Ryan Seacrest's radio show on Friday, comparing their "intense connection" to characters in the hit vampire franchise "Twilight."
He told Seacrest: "Yes, we are dating. Wow, I've never said that. We're more than dating ... we're more than in love. We have an intense connection. She's my Bella. I don't want to bite her neck, but I want her to live. ... I'm in love, and I don't care!"
And the actor insists the whirlwind romance was unexpected, adding: "I thought something would happen in my 40s. Hollywood makes us on our own train, and it's like I have a co-conductor now."

Madonna is planning to join Britney Spears onstage during one of the singer's New York shows.
The Holiday hitmaker - who attended Spears' gig at the Nassau Coliseum on Long Island last week - will team up with Spears to sing Get Together and Trouble when the Toxic singer is back in the Big Apple.
Spears' stylist, David Alexander, tells In Touch Weekly magazine, "It’s supposed to be a surprise!"
Spears, 27, joined Madonna, 50, onstage at her Dodgers Stadium show in Los Angeles in November.

The names and weights of the babies has not yet been released. They might be a couple weeks early, but I don’t think the exact due date was named, only ’spring’. According to MSNBC, all babies and mom are healthy.
