'The Hills' star Audrina Patridge is leaving the series for her own show.
Reuters reports that Patridge is planning to star in a new series about her personal and professional life.
Patridge's departure follows co-star Lauren Conrad's, and has led to speculation that MTV will either cancel or revamp the show.
An MTV spokesperson said: "We cannot confirm a sixth season at this time. However, 'The Hills' will continue as long as there are stories to tell, and as of now we don't see an end in sight."

Kim Kardashian is defending actress Lindsay Lohan against speculation that the star is out of control following an arrest warrant and an argument in which she allegedly broke a window.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star insists the speculation is an “invasion of privacy” of Lohan and girlfriend Sam Ronson.
“It’s so sad that there’s such an invasion of privacy, with camera people, cops and paparazzi outside their home,” Kardashian tells People magazine.
The 28-year-old also insists that rumors of Lohan throwing a vase through a window during an argument with Ronson doesn’t mean the actress is spiraling out of control. “I mean, when have you not thrown something when you’re mad? Everyone has to admit that at one time in their life, they’ve thrown something, but maybe not necessarily breaking a window,” she says.
Lohan has not commented on the reports.

With paparazzi and video cameramen everywhere, Lohan tried to hide as her driver inspected the damage.

AnnaLynne McCord has been confirmed escaping injury after being involved in a minor car accident in L.A. on Tuesday afternoon.
One of "90210" leading ladies, AnnaLynne McCord, was involved in a fender-bender on La Cienega in West Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon, March 10. The 21-year-old actress totaled her Mini Cooper as she rear-ended a Range Rover, several Internet reports have claimed.
Police were quick to arrive at the scene and it was confirmed that McCord walked away from the accident with no injuries. Her ride, which was extremely dented, has since been towed from the scene.

There may be trouble in paradise for British model and actress Elizabeth Hurley and her husband Arun Nayar, whose marriage is reportedly on the rocks.
The couple who solemnised their twice - first in Sudely Castle in Great Britain then later at Umaid Bhawan Palace in India - have only been married for two years.
According to reports, Nayar, an Indian textile heir, is upset that Hurley is unable to spend much time with him due to her various work commitments such as her television and modelling appearances and her contracts with a swimwear company. He is also bored of Hurley's glamorous lifestyle and finds her love of parties and networking "tedious".
Hurley, 43, has a six-year-old son Damian from a brief relationship with an American businessman Steve Bing.
While she has no children with Nayar, she yearns to have a child of their own.
The high profile couple received much attention from the media when they first got together in 2002. They finally tied the knot in March 2007 after Nayar divorced his previous wife, Italian model Veronica Pedroni.

The actor is joining forces with the nonpartisan, non-profit group, Operation Helmet, to provide $100,000 worth of shock-absorbing helmet pads for U.S. troops serving in the Middle East.
The upgraded helmet pads drastically reduce brain injuries from IED's, bombs and vehicular accidents, according to Dr. Bob Meaders, founder and president of Operation Helmet. To date, they have provided 41,000 helmet pad updates to the men and women on the front lines in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Jennifer Aniston's desire to start a family is what caused her split from John Mayer, according to a new report.
The former Friends actress and the No Such Thing hitmaker - who had been dating on and off for around a year - ended their relationship last week, with Mayer's reluctance to start a family cited as the reason.
A source tells America's OK! magazine, "She was truly ready to move on. John wasn't ready to father her child so she ended it."
However, the couple remain on good terms.
The source adds, "They left the door open to give it another go. John's number one priority at the moment is his music, it's all-consuming for him."
John, 31, recently took to his Twitter page to reveal his heartbreak over the split.
Jennifer, 40, has previously spoken of her desire to have children.
She said, "I feel it's in my future and I'm on the verge of it in some way. I want to have children. That's my plan. Of course I'd like to be a mother some day, and I love children."

Madonna's toy boy Jesus Luz will be in the dog house if reports that he was caught flirting up a storm with a brunette model are to be believed.
The Brazilian model - who allegedly moved in with Madonna earlier this week - is said to have risked his new showbiz life with the queen of pop for the sake of a fumble and a kiss with lingerie model Luciana Costa.
An onlooker tells The Sun, “Jesus was the hit of the party and all the girls went wild for him when he arrived.
“But Luciana was more interested than most and soon got hold of him for a dance.”
Another source added: “They danced together very close lots of times. He whispered things in her ear, grabbed her hand, put his hand around her waist.
“He’d had a little to drink and it seemed clear he was after something.”
The next day - as the pair headed out for a relaxing Sunday walk - Luciana told reporters that they were just "old friends" catching up.
She said, “We both love to dance so were dancing and catching up, talking about our careers.
“On the Sunday we went for a walk with friends we have in common. Jesus had great things to say about Madonna and he doesn’t care that she is so much older.”

At one point when he lay down on an inmate's bed, Rourke quipped: "My sofa seems much stiffer."
