And to prove a point the 24-year-old posted a picture on her Twitter page which showed her naked in a bath, with her modesty preserved by a tray of half-eaten pizza.
After being confined to her bed for three days with a bout of the flu the I Kissed A Girl singer wrote: 'Why is it that after not eating for three days all i can think of is food... food is smiling at me... luring me with sexual seduction.'
Questioned by her fans she then revealed: 'Few of my fave things: BBQ chicken chop at CPK Chinese, chicken salad at Chinchins, Rock shrimp & yellow tail sashimi at Nobu, Crispy beef at Mr.Chow's, endive salad at Le Petite, four curry chicken salad at Urth Cafe, my beloved double double at INnOut.
'Don't hate on Jack's Spicy Chicken sandwich! ...I almost forgot... that damn crunch wrap supreme at Taco Bell. Okay that's all for now.'
Of course, slim Katy probably doesn't indulge in her favourite foods all that often.
She also posted a picture of herself altered to show how she might look if she did, labelling it 'future me'.
Her fans mostly reacted positively to the oversized Katy.
She wrote: 'More people are saying 'I'd still hit it' to the future me than the me now. damn. Super size it!'

With everyone's attention focused on the mullet Kristen Stewart's been rocking to play Joan Jett in "The Runaways," poor Dakota Fanning has been left in the dust.
That probably had a bit to do with the fact that her outfits had been thoroughly modern up until this point. Although maybe we simply hadn't seen her in a legit costume yet. Well, that all changed this morning as the jump-suited up actress made her way out of the makeup trailer, where she apparently left no blush behind.
But I, for one, am thrilled that Dakota is veering towards slightly more adult fare now that she's gotten her big-girl body. Hopefully in 10 years we'll still be talking about DakFan and not her sparkle-free costar!

Britney Spears was spotted out and about on Tuesday buying coffee at a Starbucks.
Dressed in very short jean shorts and a sleeveless low cut top, Britney showed a lot of skin as she bought coffee and walked back to her car.
The incident began when a bartender at the café area "Le Quotidien" in the departure area of the airport at terminal 2F refused to serve the actor, who appeared drunk, according to the news service. A shouting match developed between Rhys Meyers and the bar manager. Then when another bar employee tried to separate the pair, Rhys Meyers swung and punched the intervening waiter.
Police handcuffed the actor when placing him in custody, and sources tell PEOPLE that the actor remained in a sober lock-up area for three hours before being released.
The AFP reports that Rhys Meyers has been told to appear before the Correctional Tribunal in Bobigny in September to answer charges concerning, "voluntary violence, contempt, issuing death threats and assault," according to a judicial source.

The two couldn't keep their hands off one another as they lounged on sunbeds by a pool.
Cipriani caressed Brook's arms and stomach, before helping her tighten the ties on her orange bikini.
The rugby player flew down to meet Brook from Denver, Colorado, after the final of the Churchill Cup at the weekend.

The entertainment mogul has halted production on her clothing line, Sweetface, after six years. The brand, which was as a spinoff of the JLO by Jennifer Lopez Line, started as streetwear but soon became a fancier set of duds.
The company says that Sweetface isn't shutting down forever -- they are just taking a break and will relaunch the line with a new direction at some point.

Angelina Jolie is reportedly "furious" at rumours that she will not be reprising her role as Lara Croft in the next Tomb Raider film, and the part will instead be offered to Transformers starlet Megan Fox.
According to a Sun source, Angelina Jolie isn't a fan of the Transformers movies and believes Megan won't do the Lara Croft character "justice".
"She's also annoyed because she thinks Megan copies everything from her, from her tattoos to her style," the source says.
The new film, according to executive producer Dan lin, is an "origin story" starring a younger Lara, with plenty of "character-driven action".
The Sun source said: "Angie was intent on reprising her role. She feels it's something she helped define and feels robbed that it looks likely to be handed to someone who she considers less capable than her."

The "High School Musical" star will not release any more albums for now, The China Daily reports.
"Honestly, I'm kind of taking a break from music right now. I'm just focusing on films and acting. I feel like when I'm doing something I really want, I focus on that and try to not spread myself all over the place," she said.
However, it does not mean the actress is not in love with music anymore, she explained to MTV News: "I mean, I love musicals, I really do. I grew up doing them, so it'll always have a place in my heart.
"At the same time, it's nice to be able to separate the two and just be able to focus on films. It's a lot of fun playing different characters and taking on new journeys."

Hilton alleges that Molina punched him in the face on June 21 at a MuchMusic Video Awards afterparty in Toronto. According to Hilton, Molina was upset about the blogger's online criticism of the band's newest album.
Hilton is seeking unspecified damages for battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Toronto police have already charged Molina with assault.
