Alicia Keys is not only an amazing singer-songwriter and actress, she is also an humanitarian with a big heart! Keys is this years BET recipient of the BET Humanitarian Award.
BET Reports: Keys joined with Keep A Child Alive (KCA), a non-profit organization dedicated to providing life-saving anti-retroviral treatment to children and their families with HIV/AIDS in Africa and the developing world. She has made multiple visits to Uganda, Kenya and South Africa to promote care for children with AIDS. Shortly after becoming involved with KCA, Keys was named ambassador and co-host and musical director of the annual Black Ball, a benefit to promote HIV/AIDS awareness and raise funds for the charity.
Keys’ charitable contributions are also felt on her home soil. She is a board member of Frum Tha Ground Up, a non-profit organization devoted to inspiring and motivating America’s youth. Keys is also involved with Teens in Motion, a grassroots organization that provides a safe environment for teens to excel in dance, singing, drama, spoken word and self-esteem workshops, located in the South Bronx.

NFL receiver Hank Baskett made the best catch of his life Saturday night, marrying Playmate Kendra Wilkinson in a lavish ceremony at her former residence, the Playboy mansion.
Wilkinson, 23, the former star of the reality TV series "The Girls Next Door," wore more than $100,000 worth of platinum jewelry courtesy of designer Michael Barin, as she walked down the aisle in a white dress, People.com reported.
"She was beaming," an eyewitness told US Weekly Magazine.
The groom, a 26-year-old backup on the Philadelphia Eagles, also wore white at the ceremony in Los Angeles.
Hundreds of guests lined the backyard ceremony including the bride's former sugar daddy, Hugh Hefner.
"I could not be more delighted," Hefner told E! News. "This is one of the happiest days in one of the happiest places on Earth."

The 27-year-old songstress and rapper T.I. were top contenders for trophies, with a leading five nominations each. She is up for best R&B female, best actress and video of the year.
Coolio, whose real name is Artis Leon Ivey Jr., was arrested on March 6 at Los Angeles International Airport on suspicion of felony narcotics possession. He resisted arrest at the time, but in exchange for his guilty plea on Friday in a Los Angeles courtroom the authorities agreed to drop charges of battery and possession of a smoking device.
Jane Robison, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office, said Coolio faced three years in prison if convicted on all charges.
