Author of the Harry Potter stories, JK Rowling did a trial run in her killer Louboutin heels before last night's premiere.
Walking in heels is a skill that requires dedicated practice and JK Rowling wanted to make sure she didn't make a fashion faux pas by going head over heels at the Harry Potter world premiere last night.
In preparation for the prem, the 43 year old author took her Ł800 gold Differa Christian Louboutin heels for a test run on Monday night to Scott's in Mayfair. Though she seemed less than entirely sure footed, hubby Neil Murray was on hand to help her keep her balance.
And it was worth the extra time she put in learning to walk in them; as JK Rowling stepped onto last night's red carpet in Leicester Square, she looked utterly glamorous in an Alberta Ferretti gown and her glimmering heels. And, as if by magic, the rain stopped falling the moment she exited her limo.
Emma Watson kept up the glamorous theme in a floor-length Ossie Clark number, while newcomer Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley in the film) was also fashiontastic in a print Miu Miu frock.

Lively tells, “At first I was so upset that they hired him. I actually poisoned the whole cast against him. But then they noticed that he wasn’t a jerk and was actually a really nice, charming person.”
Continuing on about her co-star lover, who was also a childhood classmate, Blake said, “Almost immediately I realized that too, but it took me about a week to admit it.”

Emma Watson looked amazing as she arrived at the Ziegfeld Theatre in Manhattan, sporting a black leather halter top with a white skirt and black strappy heels.
"Trying to sing today was basically impossible for me," Carey tweeted. "I could barely keep myself from crying."
Seems Carey got emotional when she saw the images of the King of Pop on the huge screen above the stage.
"I'm sorry that I wasn't able to pull it together and really do it right, but I was literally choked up when I saw him there in front of me," Carey explained in a series of posts on Twitter.
The singer added, "One thing I know is, we will never really have to say goodbye to MJ. His legacy lives on through his music and the millions of people he inspired with his timeless music. He will be forever in our hearts."
