The Transformers star was attending the annual Comic-Con International event in San Diego when she was approached by a wannabe x-rated filmmaker.
The Courier-Mail quotes the fan as saying: "My question is for Megan. I have a Sony HVR [camera]. It's not a true HD but it gives a pretty good image. Anyway, my question is: I just graduated film school and I'm trying to help my career. I was wondering if you'd be interested in some kind of, like, celebrity sex tape?"
The man was promptly dragged outside by security guards and the actress did not respond to the question.
Fox's co-star in new western film Jonah Hex said: "Dude, I can't wait to see what you look like in 30 minutes."

Just days after Brown made a public apology for beating up his then-girlfriend in February, the singer was seen checking into the Trump International Hotel and Tower in Manhattan.
The New York Post reported that the couple spent the weekend there, "under a cloak of secrecy".
According to the newspaper: "They spent the next two days coming and going in separate chauffeured vehicles from the underground garage of the 52-story Columbus Circle building."
The two appear to have taken great measures to avoid public exposure, including the use of decoy vehicles to throw off reporters and photographers.

Ashley Tisdale has banned herself from watching horror movies.
The High School School Musical actress says she can’t watch scary flicks because her over-active imagination has given her sleepless nights when she is home alone.
“I can’t watch scary movies right now, because living on my own, it kind of freaks me out,” she says. “I tend to just watch comedies. As an actress you think I would understand but I have a big imagination and it gets scary.”

The one-time actress and notorious Hollywood It-girl visited a milkshake parlour last night, where she mixed her own shake, named after the starlet.
Sporting an apron, plastic gloves - and a serious case of 'side-boob' - Lindsay whipped up her own concoction in front of, literally, tens of fans.
The Lindsay Lohan milkshake will now appear on the menu at Millions of Milkshakes in West Hollywood.
LiLo follows in the footsteps of other 'celebrities' who have had shakes named after them, including reality TV stars Kim Kardashian, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt.

Madonna's muscles are back… and bigger than ever.
The 50-year-old, who has never been shy about revealing her toned arms, stunned onlookers in London Sunday night with her stringy, sinewy muscles.
Her sleeveless top showed what a clearly ruthless daily exercise and diet regime have produced: no fat and all bulge.
"She is definitely training like an athlete. This is not your average workout," says Taj Bailey, Personal Training Manager at NYC’s Crunch Fitness.
The veiny display suggests that the Material Girl is more obsessed with fitness than ever before.
In fact, she is likely putting herself through a punishing routine – like the kind professional trainers do to keep in way-better-than-average shape.
"The veins mean she has more muscle density. She is solid muscle and is training, well, like me," says Bailey, who adds that Madge’s is no ordinary workout.
Which is to say, your daily visit to the gym is unlikely to yield bizarre arms like these – that are more like something out of a horror film than a gym.
"This is years and years of hardcore training. A lot of weight activity, lots of reps, lots of cardio," says Bailey.
"It's quick, intense daily workouts, probably 45 minutes or so. It takes extreme dieting too," adds Bailey, a 10-year fitness vet.
The mother of four is currently in London on her "Sticky & Sweet" tour.
