Abbie Cornish says she moved to Los Angeles to be closer to beau Ryan Phillippe.

"I guess I was lucky because it was love that brought me here, not work," the Australian-born actress tells the September issue of W magazine.

"I think the city feels and looks a little bit different because of that," continues Cornish, who next stars in drama Bright Star (out this October).

Still, Cornish says she's not engaged to Phillippe, whom she met on the set of war flick Stop-Loss. When asked if they'll wed one day, she admits, "I don't know [if we have plans in that direction]."

Cornish also opens up about taking the blame for splitting up Phillippe and Witherspoon's marriage in 2006 -- and the media coverage surrounding the relationship triangle.

"It was a really difficult time for me," she says. "In a normal, successful career, someone usually learns these things bit by bit. For me, it was like night and day. I woke up one day and there was this whole new thing I had to process and deal with."

Shakira

Colombian singer Shakira has revealed how she keeps her career on track — by undergoing regular therapy sessions.

The Whenever, Wherever hitmaker says she became more focused after she started seeing a counselor who has helped her deal with all the issues troubling her.

“I like having a person who helps me analyze myself,” Shakira tells Latina magazine. “I recommend it to every person I know. I have a lot of friends that go to therapy now, and their lives have changed in such positive ways.

“When I want to know the answer to all these questions — What do I want? Who am I? Why am I still doing this? — I go to my analyst.”

Matt Damon relished piling on the pounds for his latest movie role, because he could treat himself to all his favorite foods.

The 38-year-old stars as bipolar whistle-blower Mark Whitacre in dark comedy thriller "The Informant!," which is based on the 2000 book of the same name.

Damon had to gain 30 pounds for the part, and he happily indulged in fat-packed fast food and alcohol to bulk up.

He tells the New York Daily News, "I definitely got doughy. I started eating like crazy and drinking dark beer. Between meals on set, I'd eat a No. 1 Value Meal at McDonald's and then Doritos on top of it. It was absolute heaven."
