Court records show Lavigne filed for divorce in Los Angeles citing "irreconcilable differences." She is asking for a ruling to block Whibley from receiving spousal support.

Leona Lewis was punched in the temple by a so-called fan who waited for more than five hours in line to meet her at a London book singing Wednesday, where the 24-year-old singer was signing copies of her new autobiography, Dreams.
Fans at the scene described the scary incident to the UK Sun.
"It was horrendous," Emily Rose, who was standing behind him, told the paper. "He waited for Leona to bow her head then just lashed out -- a proper full-on punch on the side of her face. She let out a piercing scream and grabbed her temple. Security piled on this guy and Leona just started running."
Fan Steve Caris described Lewis' creepy attacker.
"This bloke looked like a nutcase," Caris told the Sun. "He was like a bumpkin, well over 6ft tall and with buck teeth. He really walloped Leona. She must have been in agony."
Lewis was taken to London's Harley Street Hospital after the attack, and reports indicated she suffered bruising.
Scotland Yard said an arrest has been made in connection with the attack.
Lewis shot to prominence as the winner of the 2006 X Factor Competition; she was recently featured on the VH1 Divas special, where she collaborated with 80s star Cyndi Lauper on a cover of the Lauper's hit single, True Colors.

Peter Kowalczyk, 29, was jealous of the fact that Lewis won the ITV1 talent show while he was turned down, according to The Sun.
The 24-year-old singer was signing copies of her autobiography at a branch of Waterstone's in Piccadilly, central London, on Wednesday when the man suddenly lashed out.
Security guards wrestled him to the ground and a shaken Lewis was escorted away in tears. She was taken to see a doctor as a precaution but needed no further treatment.
It is understood Mr Kowalvyzk had queued for five hours to meet Lewis, after buying a copy of her autobiography, Dreams.
He was arrested and charged with assault before being taken to a psychiatric hospital where he was sectioned, it was reported.
His father Tomasz told the newspaper: "He wants to be a singer. He went along and queued at X Factor. How far he got with it? Nowhere."

Lindsay Lohan has been ordered to appear in court for her progress report concerning her DUI case. A judge has reportedly told the 23-year-old actress to be in court personally on Friday.
TMZ reports that the judge received information from those who run the alcohol education program that triggered concern. It appears that the "Mean Girls" actress may have violated the terms of the program.
If the judge determines that she violated the terms of the program, her probation can be revoked and she could end up in prison.
The alcohol education course is part of her probation that stems from her DUI case in 2007. She pled no contest back then.

The Gossip Girl star says she was denied entry to the theme park for a whole year after trying to scam free entry into the magic kingdom.
“I grew up going to Disneyland twice a week,” explains Blake. “But I was banned for a year because I went to Disney prison. I was really young so I wasn’t responsible for this — it was all my brother’s fault.
“You get a stamp when you leave the park which if you put hairspray on it you can transfer it to someone else’s hand, so in the parking lot he went up to somebody and said, ‘Hey can we spray hairspray on your hand?’ and we transferred it.
“And then we go in through the turnstile and there’s people there called Fox Fighters or some weird name, They take us aside and I’m like six-years-old and my brother says ‘No matter what they say do not confess’. He was like a professional felon at twelve!”

Miranda Kerr dons a corset and then a bikini during a photo shoot on the roof of the Museum of Contemporary Art for Grazia Magazine in Sydney, Australia on Thursday.
She has sparked a skinny storm after posing in a corset on a Sydney rooftop yesterday afternoon.
Britain's Daily Mail newspaper said there were health fears for the Victoria's Secret model because of how skinny she appeared during the Grazia magazine photo shoot.
The Daily Mail article said Kerr looked "unrecognisable" from the back.
"Miranda's ribs protruded and her skin was tightly stretched across her bony back," the article said.
"Her thin arms also looked extremely sinewy."
Mr Paparazzi, the gossip site associated with the photography agency that took the photos, said they "couldn't help but notice" how skinny Kerr was.
"We know Miranda's always been super skinny it's just that when we spotted her taking part in this photo shoot … it seemed as if she'd lost even more weight," the site said.
