Spears is said to have been ecstatic when Trawick - her lover of three years and who also her manager - recently joined the "Womanizer" singer and her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James on her tour Down Under. Like great big happy family!
Allegedly, Trawick rejected her proposal because he "takes marriage very seriously."
Music news and gossip site Musictoob says the 27-year-old pop star could not hide her devastation later told her Sydney audience: "Have you ever really loved somebody? Have you ever really been hurt by somebody?"
Britney Spears has been married twice before previously to Kevin Federline and Jason Alexander. While these two marriages went nowhere, a source says Britney is sure Jason is the one: "Britney said she does not have a doubt in her mind that she wants to spend the rest of her life with Jason," said the source.
If any of this is true, maybe it was too soon? Poor Britney! The girl just can't get a break when it comes to true love.

Lady Gaga has revealed that her new song `Telephone` was originally written for pop princess Britney Spears, who had rejected the song.
The `Poker Face` hitmaker was a songwriter before she shot into the limelight with her 2008 debut album `The Fame` and had penned tracks for artists including the Pussycat Dolls, reported a news website.
Gaga has admitted that she had written `Telephone` for Spears, but when the `Toxic` hitmaker rejected the song, she recorded it herself and brought new pal R&B singer Beyonce Knowles on board to give it a superstar makeover.
"I wrote it for her a long time ago and she just didn`t use it for her album. It`s fine because I love the song and I get to perform it now," said the 23-year-old singer.
The song is a part of `Fame Monster`, the re-launched version of her debut album.

A source says the star recently took the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model to Baker's Bay, a private resort in the Bahamas. "They stayed in their own villa," our spy says. "They were shacked up together all weekend."
Refaeli and DiCaprio split in June after three years, reportedly because of his fear of commitment.
