Popstar Mariah Carey is known for her diva demands but she outdid herself by asking to be surrounded by 20 white kittens and 100 white doves for a brief appearance at a mall.
The Hero hitmaker's hosts were rescued when the demands were turned down by UK's health and safety officials, reported Daily Mail online.
The 39-year-old singer wanted confetti shaped like butterflies, her favourite insect, to shower over her at the end of her appearance at the Westfield complex in West London.
The list known in showbusiness circles as a 'rider', included being driven by Rolls Royce along a pink carpet right to the pink podium where she is to wave a wand to turn on the lights.
A source revealed the model of car had to be changed six times before she was finally happy.
"We did manage to source the doves that we were going to release into the sky, but the kittens proved terribly difficult," said the source.
Earlier this month, the singer told of her passion for animals and how far she will go to keep them in the luxury that she is accustomed to.
She told Hello! magazine that she had hired extra minders for her dogs while shooting for a recent commercial where she starred with them.
"I had my team with me but the pups had a mini-entourage of their own, of course! And why wouldn't they."

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has checked out of Melrose Place and moved all the way to New York, as the singer/actress made her Broadway debut Monday night in the Tony Award winning musical Chicago now playing at the Ambassador Theatre on the Great White Way.
Simpson-Wentz, 25, plays the role of Roxie Hart in Chicago. She will remain in the production through a 10-week engagement that ends February 7, 2010.
Ashlee's rocker hubby Pete Wentz and her big sis Jessica were in the audience to cheer her on.
Jessica was all smiles on Twitter, following Ashlee’s opening night performance.
“Roxie was all Heart!” Jessica Tweeted. “Watching her up on that grandiose stage made me the proudest sister in the world. I love ya honey, I love ya!. Grrrrrrr”

Keeping her shades on while walking to airport security, the “Labor Pains” actress playfully took pictures of the snapping paparazzi with her cell phone before disappearing into the terminal.
"It's understandable that the Catholic League is wary of another sex scandal, but the sex we're talking about pertains to dogs and cats. As a practicing Catholic, I am shocked that the Catholic League is speaking out against my PETA ads, which I am very proud of. I'm doing what the Catholic Church should be doing, working to stop senseless suffering of animals, the most defenseless of God's creation. I am a voice for innocent animals who are being neglected and dumped by the millions at shelters. A video of Marilyn Monroe allegedly smoking marijuana has been made public some 50 years after it was filmed.
The film was recently bought for $275,000 (£166,000) by US collector Keya Morgan, who is making a documentary on the death of Monroe in August 1962.
He tracked it down to an attic in New Jersey - the person who filmed it said it was taken at an informal gathering in 1958 or 1959.
The film shows a personal side rarely seen in public since the actress achieved stardom.
At one point in the film, Marilyn points her nose toward her armpit and laughs.
The original film-maker - who has asked for anonymity - said the cigarette in the footage contained marijuana saying: "I got it - it was mine. It was just passed around."
"It was not a party. It was just a get-together. You know, come over and hang out," the person added.

The Hollywood socialite, Nicole Richie, 28, is developing an ABC sitcom in which she would both star and produce. Variety says the show will use a single camera, and the concept was Richie's idea.
Daisy Gardner (“Californication”) is due to write it, while Warren Bell (“According to Jim”) will executive produce and supervise the pilot script, reports the trade paper.
“The story revolves around a young, modern and professional woman who must balance her business and family relationships,” Richie writes on her Web site. “She must deal with, and navigate the many ideas of what a woman’s role is: modern vs. traditional.”
The mother of two says she’ll use what she sees in her real life to create the show.
“Lately, I have been surrounded by many different women of all ages and walks of life. It amazes me to watch and observe how many different ideas there are about what a woman’s role should be in this era,” she writes.
“I’ve taken these fascinating ideas, and compiled them into something that I think will be very special (and funny!). We’re still in the very early stages and I can’t wait to share more with you soon!”

Jennifer Aniston is so impressed by her yoga instructor Mandy Ingber that she is launching a DVD for her.
The ‘Friends’ star has jetted back from her Moroccan break to host a party for Ingber’s DVD Yogalosophy at the Sunset Towers hotel in LA on Thursday.
Aniston, who previously admitted she practices yoga to “quiet her mind”, has even filmed a personal introduction for the video.
“Mandy brought yoga into my life. This workout will change your body and your mind,’ the New York Post quoted Aniston as saying.
The DVD is inspired by a yoga feature that Aniston and Ingber did for Self magazine in 2006.
“Jen works out with Mandy up to five times a week, and they have become such great friends she even takes Mandy on vacation with her. So Jen was delighted to help launch her DVD,” said a source.
Guests that are expected for the launch include Aniston’s best friend, Courtney Cox, and Self Editor-in-Chief Lucy

Jamie Grubbs, a cocktail waitress who appeared on the VH1 show Tool Academy, tells the British tabloid "the Sun" that she and the pro golfer had a 31-month fling that included around 20 sexual encounters, the first just days before Woods's wife, Elin Nordegren, gave birth to the married couple's first child.
"He told me just last month, 'Quietly and secretly we will always be together,' " Grubbs, 24, says.
According to Grubbs, the two met in Las Vegas in 2007, and Woods, 33, flew to see her in San Diego every few months thereafter. She says she still has text messages and voicemails to prove the relationship.
