Jennifer Lopez will celebrate New Years Eve with her fellow New Yorkers, by performing for a TV special.
JLo will sing at Times Square, as part of Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2010, held on December 31st, 2009. Shakira and Rihanna will also be making appearances on the show, but their spots were pre-recorded.
Another segment of the NYE special, will broadcast performances from other locations, including Black Eyed Peas, Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber and Keri Hilson, all live from Las Vegas.

The Brit comedian popped the question to the I Kissed A Girl singer during a pre-Christmas get-together in the UK. After happily accepting his proposal, Perry later jetted back to the US while Brand stayed in London.
Now reports claim the happy couple are set to tie the knot - once Brand has found her the perfect ring. One source told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "Russell knows Katy's the one for him.
"He's never been into a girl like he has with her and they're besotted. He asked her to marry him last week and she quickly said yes.
"They don't know when the wedding will be but they are planning to make it in 2010 if their schedules can work.
"Russell is searching for a jewelery designer to make up a ring in time for New Year.
"Katy's thrilled with Russell and how he is making so much effort. Russell also has the approval of Katy's parents and everyone in the pair's close circle know about the engagement."

Country star Taylor Swift is ending 2009 on a high - she has beaten Susan Boyle and Lady Gaga to be crowned the breakthrough star of the year in a new online poll.
The Love Story hitmaker has seen her popularity soar in the last 12 months thanks to her Grammy-nominated album Fearless, the best-selling release of 2009.
Swift scored 43 per cent of the vote in the PopEater.com survey, finishing ahead of Scottish star Susan Boyle, who garnered 29 per cent, and Lady GaGa, who landed 25 per cent.
The Kardashian sisters - Kim, Khloe and Kourtney - were tied for fourth place with Star Trek star Chris Pine.

Rachel Uchitel - the first of Tiger Woods’ 15 alleged mistresses - was caught strolling in a bikini on the sands at Palm Beach, Florida.
The 34-year-old nightclub hostess, who refuses to discuss Woods beyond denying having an affair with him, had a Christmas beach holiday close to her family in Florida, reports the News of the World.
TMZ claimed Woods and his wife were arguing over the golfer’s alleged relationship with Uchitel just before he crashed his Cadillac Escalade into a water hydrant and a tree outside his Florida mansion. The site quotes sources as saying that Woods and Uchitel were texting each other less than an hour before the accident on Thanksgiving.

Aniston of late has struck up a friendship with Moore, a devotee of the teachings of Kabbalah, which are based on Jewish mysticism.
Aniston, who has spoken of her dismay at not finding true love, reportedly already shares the same Hollywood life coach with Moore. But they recently bumped into each other at a Mont Blanc party in New York, a source said.
"They spent ages talking and Demi was waxing lyrical about how life-changing and wonderful Kabbalah is, and how much it helps her in her day-to-day life. Jen seemed enthralled by what Demi had to say and was hanging on her every word."
