Josh Duhamel surprised his wife of nearly a year, Fergie, with a vow renewal ceremony Wednesday, UsMagazine.com has confirmed.
The couple wed again with just the two of them and a minister outside Santa Barbara, Calif.
"It was a total surprise for Fergie," a source said
Duhamel, 37, whisked Fergie, 34, away via private helicopter from Los Angeles to the resort town (where Oprah has a home), according to RadarOnline.com, which first reported the news.
There, a limo was waiting to bring the couple to the luxe Bacara Resort & Spa, located about 20 minutes away.
During their 15-minute ceremony, held on a bluff overlooking the ocean, Fergie was "crying and very emotional," a source tells Radar.
Afterward, the couple had a romantic dinner at the resort's upscale Miro eatery.
"They had the whole restaurant to themselves and left before the first customers came in," a source tells Radar.
Following the meal, the couple left hand-in-hand to return to the helicopter and fly back to Los Angeles.

It's hard to imagine Amanda Bynes as the perky pre-teen on Nickelodeon's All That when she strips down to her bra!
"I had the best time on this shoot," she says of posing on the cover of Maxim's February issue. "I think every shot I did was sexy. Some people still see me as a kid, but I'm a 23-year-old woman now."
The actress, who stars in the upcoming Easy A, wants "to show people" that she is no longer just a child star.
"My parents were like, 'Does this mean you're gonna do sexy movies now?'" she tells Maxim. "I said, 'Well, if they're done the right way, then maybe!' I mean, I’m not gonna do porn, but if it’s a Leonardo DiCaprio movie or whatever... Point is, it's time for me to start making my own decisions."
Although Bynes says she "wouldn't mind" making out with DiCaprio, she has her eye on someone else.
"I like someone right now," the star, who last dated Paris Hilton's beau Doug Reinhardt, says. "Hopefully we'll end up becoming an official couple, but that's something we both have to decide. Right now we're vibing, so that's cool."
So, what kind of guy is her new love interest?
"I never really say I have a type, because every guy I've liked has looked physically different," she says. "Most guys I've dated started as friends, though. Treat me like a friend and maybe you can become a boyfriend."

When "Dance Your Ass Off" returns this summer, Marissa Jaret Winokur won't be the host. Today Oxygen announced its new host -- and it is one of the Spice Girls.
The plus-sized hit will now be hosted by Mel B [Melanie Brown], who was on the fifth season of "Dancing with the Stars."
"We didn't produce the first season of 'Dance Your Ass Off,'" executive producer Dan Cutforth told reports at the Television Critics Association panel for the series. "Oxygen considered it a huge success. They looked at some things they wanted to change. Marissa was a fabulous host. She was great hosting the show and got great press, but they found in talking to the audience that there was a portion of the audience who loved her and a portion who didn't connect with her. The core Oxygen audience grew up as Spice Girls fans, so they connect with Mel B."
"Dance has been a big part of my life and a big part of my losing my baby weight," Mel B. said when asked why she was interested in hosting "DYAO." ""I saw bits of it last year and it got my heart. I lost 60 pounds [of baby weight]. I wish I had been on this show doing it. This show really gets you. That is why I want to be a part of it."

In recent news, according to monstersandcritics.com, Rihanna is not dating Matt Kemp, 25, and the couple are just friends, said representatives.
The singer was reported last week stealing sizzling moments in Mexico's Cabo San Lucas with Kemp, an LA Dodgers star.
"I think dating may be a stretch at this point," the New York Daily News quoted agent Dave Stewart as saying.
"They are in Cabo, but past that they are just good friends," he added.

Moss, 35, who was said to have postponed her trip to the Far East, sported a flat tummy as she frolicked on the beach in Phuket, reports the Mirror.
