Shakira is not only partnered up with Hard Rock International, she’s also giving back via Fundacion Pies Descalzos.
According to Hard Rock International, Shakira Artist Spotlight T-Shirts and Bracelets are now available as limited-edition merchandise to benefit Shakira’s Fundacion Pies Descalzos, an organization devoted to finding and providing opportunities for children who are victims of violence in Colombia.
“I’m proud and excited to continue my partnership with Hard Rock International through the Artist Spotlight program,” Shakira said in statement issued Monday, February 22. “With the launch of the Shakira Artist Spotlight T-Shirt, I hope to increase international awareness and support for the Fundacion Pies Descalzos, an organization that is extremely close to my heart.”
“We were thrilled by the outstanding response to Hard Rock’s Shakira Signature Series T-shirt, launched in 2007, and are excited to continue our relationship with Shakira for her Artist Spotlight T-Shirt,” said Hamish Dodds, President and Chief Executive Officer, Hard Rock International.

The voice is heard saying: "Patient is Michael Jackson, the popstar singer. No pulse, no breathing. Unresponsive. Tried to resuscitate him. Unsuccessful.
"We've done everything we can. We should be there in five minutes. It doesn't look good. It doesn't look good."
If the tape is ruled genuine, it could provide vital evidence in the case against Murray, who claims that Jackson still had a pulse when he put him in the ambulance.

Sophie Monk has been showing off the bruises she sustained in a car accident in LA last week. Monk was not at her glamorous best at the weekend in low-slung trackie-daks which revealed two well bruised hips - one of the injuries sustained when Monk's Prius collided with a Ford Explorer which cut across her path on LA's La Brea Avenue.
She also suffered a broken L2 vertebrate in her back and a fractured foot in the crash.
She now has her foot strapped and seems not to care that she can't get out of the way of photographers - she has been photographed in a wheelchair, on crutches, in tears and now with bruises on show.
"You don't look cute when you're in pain," she said, perhaps as an apology for her grey trackie.
Monk told 2DayFM's breakfast team afterwards: "It is the worst accident I've ever been in. Everything was hurtin' like anythin'."
The fire brigade attended the scene and Monk was in tears after the accident.
She has been told that as a consequence of her back injury she will be shorter than her usual 170cm in future.

Shakira was at the White House today to meet with members of the National Security Council and the Domestic Policy Council to discuss U.S. policy toward children as well as early childhood development. According to the White House official, Shakira met with the President privately to say hello after the meetings had concluded.

Actress Lindsay Lohan described her lesbian relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson as "really scary" but said in an interview published on Tuesday that she still loves Ronson and hopes they will reconcile.
In a rare account of her and Ronson's stormy 18-month relationship, the "Mean Girls" star told Britain's The Sun newspaper that Ronson, 32, was the only woman she had ever been attracted to.
"It was a big deal for me because I've never had a relationship as public as that, especially being with a girl for the first time. That was really scary for me. But I didn't care because I love her," Lohan told The Sun in an interview in London.
"If I wasn't with Samantha, I would probably be with a boy next. She's the only woman I've been attracted to.
"We love each other. We might reconcile the relationship, maybe. I don't know," Lohan said.
The pair split in April 2009 after a tempestuous few months in which Lohan was seen in tears after nights out with Ronson. Lohan said they broke up because Ronson's family and friends did not approve of her and the paparazzi her life attracts, but that they live in the same apartment building in Los Angeles and were still in touch.
