Pop diva Madonna will be launching a new clothing line at Macy’s in conjunction with Iconix Brand Group Inc.
The fashion line will be called “Material Girl,” after Madonna herself and will hit stores just in time for the back to school rush.
The first line of clothes will be a juniors collection line to debut in up to 200 Macy’s stores this coming August.
Madonna and her teenage daughter Lourdes Leon designed the line of clothing, along with input from Iconix designers.
“Our strategy is to introduce brands formed through the joint venture in multiple countries and organically expand worldwide,” Iconix Chief Executive Neil

On getting married again: No, I don’t think so. Because I’ve realized commitment is important and no matter what paper you’re going to sign, if that commitment ceases to be there you’ll get out of the marriage anyway. You know, I might get married at 50 or 60, when it actually means something to say ‘for the rest of my life’.
On what Brad Pit was like to work with: On set he’s just like everybody else. He’s super-nice. Professional and committed. He attended every read-through, every rehearsal. It wasn’t like, ‘Brad Pitt’s going to show up.’ Quentin doesn’t care who you are or what you’ve done before. He’s about the work.
On Quentin Tarantino’s foot fetish: When I first got the job, some German guy interviewed me and said, ‘So do you have a foot scene?’ I was like, ‘Actually, I do. Why?’ Tarantino. Foot fetish. Blah, blah. So the day comes and I walk on set and I’m like [to Tarantino], ‘Hey! [Winks.] Today’s the foot scene. Are you excited?’ And he was like, ‘It’s not true!’ But then he certainly spent more time filming my foot than my face, so I don’t know. But I definitely think I have cuter feet than Uma Thurman!
An on-looker said, "Cameron looked amazing and although it was not the most glamorous location she seemed to be having a blast doing the photo shoot."

Jessica Biel was spotted at the premiere screening of “Summit on the Summit: Kilimanjaro” in New York City last night (March 10).
The “7th Heaven” hottie looked lovely as she arrived at the Tribeca Grand Hotel, sporting a black blazer overtop a multi-colored dress and strappy black heels.
Speaking of the grueling mountain climb featured in the show (premiering Sunday on VH1), Jessica explained, “She was like this mysterious, foreboding, ominous woman. And she was hidden almost all day long, and just when you were unmotivated, and feeling like crap and uninspired and thinking, ‘What am I doing here?’ the clouds would part and she would peek out, and the beauty would strike you, and then you’d be inspired again. And she was literally, like, this woman who would pull this veil over her face and disappear, and then she’d show a little bit of herself, and then she’d disappear again. It was kind of this running joke, but I really felt that way. I felt like, ‘I respect you. Please let me get up, please.’ ”
Biel continued, “It was a combination of the mental and the psychological aspects of the mountain, of the slow-but-steady pace that you had to go up it, and that sometimes made your brain just want to explode, because you just wanted to get there so badly. And then you couldn’t see anything at night, when we were doing our ascent attempt, and you start thinking that it would never end and you’d start to think, ‘Why am I here? This is miserable!’”
“But then you’d get this rush of inspiration of ‘I’m not doing this for me. I’m doing this for something bigger than me, for people who don’t have a voice, for people that need water around the world,’ and then you’d power through. Your mind started to play tricks on you. And then, with the altitude, you just felt so strange. You didn’t know why you were lethargic, you didn’t know why you were so tired. It was an intense experience.”
